Violet smiled. “Yeah, I’m new. Just got off a bus, actually. But um…” she wet her lips. “I sort of just hopped off on a whim.” That was a lie. She winced slightly at how easily it flowed from her tongue. So much for staying pure. “Don’t worry about me, though,” she said with a bright smile. “I’ll just wander and see what I find, y’know?”
“Can I at least show you around? Central City is really easy to get lost in if you don’t know where you’re going.” Cisco smiled at this girl, feeling comfortable around her. That felt odd to him, he usually didn’t take too kindly to strangers. “There’s a really great coffee place, Jitters, just down the street. Or there’s a Big Belly Burger not too far from here as well.” He glanced down at his watch. “I have a few hours to kill before I have to be back to work, if you’re up for it.”
