Worry etched on her face for a moment before she realized what had happened. It only managed once or twice before, but she was never really able to control it. In truth, the invisiblity thing became easier for her, but the other illusion casting, the projecting her thoughts, that came harder than it was to be expected. “No”, she said quickly, shaking her head. “I gotta go.”
That was when she managed to drop a twenty at the cashier, mumbling something about the other person keeping the change before she walked out. I gotta learn to stop thinking out loud. This is so bad.
“Wait, Did I say something? I’m sorry if I did. I’m kinda weird, and I usually drive people away. So It was nice meeting you.” He said, dropping his candy and gum on the conveyer belt. The smile dropped from his face as she continued to walk out. He really hoped he would run into her again sometime.
