“I guess I’m just naturally like this. I was always the beacon of light for my family and friends when I was younger, so it just kind of stuck.” Cisco was taken aback at how quickly her demeanor changed. He could tell it was a good thing, he felt like he was giving a great first impression for this newcomer. “Um, I’m 26, I don’t know why its called what it is, and yes.” Cisco laughed, being called a puppy was a usual with his younger family members, and he began to miss them a little. He wasn’t often in contact with his family, and one day he wished to change that. “You’re pretty peppy yourself, uh- What’s your name?” Cisco had been so wrapped up in giving this little mini-tour that he forgot to even get the young girl’s name.

Violet grinned and acted like her entire world was turning on its head. “Woah, WHAT? You’re 26? You’re like me then! I thought you were like 19! You’re so cute! Everyone thinks I’m like 12, it’s ridiculous. I get kids’ menus and this cop wanted to site me for truancy like 4 months ago and then he thought I had a fake id and don’t even get me started on bars! I love drinking. But nobody wants to buy me a drink because they think i’m some 15 year old that can’t get alcohol legally and I’m like oh my gosh this is my real age I swear, It sucks. I’m 23. I have the baby face too. Good genes, I guess.” She stopped in front of him and leaned up, closely examining his face. “We have the same nose!” She said excitedly, reaching up and lightly booping his nose at the same time as she touched her own.

“People used to make fun of my nose. Saying it was too pudgy and flat. I think my nose is cute, though. And my name’s Violet. Nobody has really cared much about my name before. It’s weird saying it, actually,” she gushed, looking quite wide eyed.

He smiled as she rambled on and on, scrunching his face up when she touched his nose. “Well I’m Cisco. Hello! I don’t drink too often, on the account I usually go a little overboard and then I’m hungover at work, and that’s never good with what I do. I’m a scientist. Having a clear mind is important.” He laughed hesitantly, curious as to what he should be telling this stranger about him. For all he knows, she could be a criminal or something. She seemed fine, and his instincts were normally pretty sound. “Well, this is Jitters, a great little cafe in the middle of the city. Great cappuccinos, really good coffee. If you’re getting coffee, go out of your way to get Jitters, cause everywhere else is crap.” Cisco said, holding open the door.
