Trying new things | Sara & Cisco

Cisco punched the bag a few more times, this time letting the majority of the power come from his core, and this time he didn’t over extend. As he punched, he began to hum ‘Let it Go’. His punching was a little on the weak side, but he was truly trying. “Sara, thanks for helping me. I really owe you.” He smiled as he felt her hand still on his elbow. “I can make dinner again if you’d like. This time I won’t spill the pasta everywhere, promise.”

You’re getting the hang of it! I have no idea what you’re humming but it’s your rocky song, I guess. It’s pumping you up and soon enough you’ll be throwing punches like Wildcat.” Sara stepped back from him and the bag, watching him from an angle. “I thought the pasta on the floor was funny. You don’t owe me but I’d love to come to dinner.”

“Oh, that definitely isn’t my rocky song,” Cisco laughed, thinking of the silly children’s movie. “The pasta was a mess. This time, maybe we can actually go to my apartment instead of staying down in this…place. I’m sort of getting sick of staying here.” Cisco continued punching the hard leather, harder and harder as he felt the pain disappear from his muscles. “But I definitely owe you.”
