“Kay. I’ll run down there and change it. You can, uh, make yourself at home?” Cisco’s face twisted at his weird remark before he turned on his heels and ran out of the room and down to the weaponry. He quickly changed the code and ran back. “Okay. It’s changed. Now for some new plans,” he said as he crossed to the computer and started typing away. “But the thing is, he told me I was like the son he never had. When we figured out he was lying the whole time I’ve known him, it broke my heart. This man I had looked up to for so much of my life had been a hoax. It all was.”
Felicity sat waiting for Scisco’s return. She began to try to hack Well’s computer. The man was brilliant and the security light-years ahead of theirs. When Scisco returned she listened carefully as he spoke. “I know that feelings. The idea that the person you love, you trusted, was not the person you thought they were. I know he really loved you, as much as he was capable. I could see the pride in his face when you figured something out.
As Felicity’s arms wrapped around his shoulders, he let his guard down completely. He felt tears start to well in his eyes and he let them trickle down his face and accepted the hug by wrapping his arms around his friend.
