Violet had, in all seriousness, been at the bar that Cisco had pointed her to for the entire day. Granted, she hadn’t started drinking alcohol yet because alcohol dulled her senses which was the last thing she needed with her back to the door. She was paranoid for good reason. Her burner phone buzzed and she jumped, still not used to the idea of having people to text. She responded to Cisco and drummed her fingertips on the bar.
Ever since he found that the girl he had met earlier in the week was his sister. He had a sister. Like, WHAT? He acted cool about it, but he was completely freaking out. Of all the things to be thrown at him in his 26 years, this was by far the most out of the blue. He decided to go for a walk earlier in the day, and he just so happened to be walking toward the direction of his usual bar. It was just one of those days. He opened the door and a bell chimed, causing him to look up where the bell swung on a little string. He tore his eyes away and walked toward the bar and ordered a beer after debating between that, a bloody mary, or scotch. He figured he could always have those later. He sat at the bar next to someone, unaware of who since the girl’s face was covered by her hair. “Wow, rough day, am I right?” He sighed.
