Jade didn’t want to spill anymore blood, all she wanted as to know where Al Sah-him was. Was that too hard to fucking ask? She felt the presence stirring in the alley before the voice broke the deafening silence. She pointed the gun towards the girl, “oh honey, doesn’t it suck to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.” Pulling the trigger, she shot just above her head. “Go now.”
Violet immediately ducked, cowering for a moment, her hearing momentarily deafening before it came back. She stood up a bit, looking the woman in the eye. “That’s my brother. You shot my brother. I don’t know what you want. But I just met my brother for the first time a couple days ago. Don’t take him away from me. He’s the only thing I have.” She was staring so intensely at the woman behind the gun that she didn’t even notice when tears began rolling down her face and her fists balled. “Let me take him to the doctor. Please. If he hasn’t answered what you want to know yet that means he doesn’t know it,” her voice was shaking. “He’s the best person I’ve ever known.”
Cisco recognized the voice and his gut wrenched. The gunshot rang through the alley and the tears started rolling down his face. “VI!” He slouched down against the the cold brick wall, his bloodied hand falling from his shoulder. “Get out of here, you’re gonna get yourself killed!”
