“So she gets dinner and a show. Not a bad arrangement. For you, anyway. I can’t cook for shit.” Jason muttered. He wondered briefly what it was like for the biggest source of anxiety in one’s life to be romance, planning a date. Something so simple it almost made him yearn. “Go ahead.” He shrugged, straightening himself in his stool. “You actually know what you’re doing, right?”

“A show? I don’t know what you mean.” Cisco said before turning and asking the bartender for their first aid kit. For the first time that night, Cisco looked and saw that they had replaced all the bottles and the mirror behind the bar from the incident earlier this week. It was reassuring that he hadn’t heard about police coming to the scene or an investigation after him. “I know enough. My co-worker is a doctor, she’s been teaching me a few things here and there.” Cisco put a hand on Jason’s chin, turning the man’s head to get a closer look. “It doesn’t look like you need stitches, but a few butterfly bandages wouldn’t hurt.”
