always-going-faster:

“I’ll get you better meds.  I’ve got a few doctor friends that would likely give me the prescriptions.”  Barry looked at him and smiled a bit.  “No, no..I understand.  I mean, I go out as the Flash, and I’ve no right to stop you.  You supported me, and I should do the same, I just..”  He looked down at his hands, the bruises on his friend’s body really getting to him.  “I’m terrified of what happens if it goes wrong.”

“Dude. You have every right to stop me. We both know that my powers are still weak yet, and I definitely don’t have the courage to stand up to thugs.” Cisco explained as he slowly sat up on the table. He placed a reassuring hand on his friend’s shoulder before speaking again. “It’s not your fault, Barry. And I won’t be going out again until I’m sure of exactly what I can do…which probably won’t be for quite some time.”
