“I’m glad you approve,” she told him as she wandered back to the living room.
Glancing at the clock, she had about 10 minutes until the pizza should arrive. She grabbed some napkins and some waters and brought them to the bedroom. He was flipping through the channels, seemingly obeying her for now. She wondered how long that would last. He was like a mischievous little elf who was constantly pressing her. Usually she would have a more violent reaction to such insolence but he was too damn cute.
A knock on the door drew her from her thoughts and she hurried to the door. It was getting late and she hadn’t eaten. Though she has no plans for the day, she didn’t expect to end up hanging out with Cisco.
Paying the man, and tipping him well, she gathered the boxes and brought them to him. “Dinner.” She announced and began to dig in.
“How could I not approve? It’s my shirt on a beautiful woman. I have no objections.” He grinned, grabbing a bottle of water as Lisa walked back in. “Thanks, by the way.” Cisco gave the woman a soft smile before she answered the door. As she was out, he grabbed few painkillers Cait had given him to help with his headaches and his lack of sleep that had come along with his nightmares.
“Oooh! Smells good.” He smiled, grabbing some pizza and taking a few bites of it. He didn’t realize how hungry he was unti lhe finished his first piece of pizza in practically seconds. He also didn’t realize how fast this medication kicked in, as he was feeling his eyelids get heavier with each time he blinked.
