His voice echoed through the space between them, her fingers flexing over the solid hilt of the dagger. Someone who is very confused. The lines have been blurred between and evil…Cisco. “What happened to you?” She questioned letting loose of the dagger, her wrist relaxing at her side. Sara knew this kind of struggle, she’d dealt with it every day and she couldn’t quite trust him. The pain sounded in the center of her chest. They’d been friends–how could she let him fall through the cracks. “This isn’t you, Cisco.”

He let his hands fall to his sides when she said his name. “This is me, Sara. It always has been, since Thawne’s hand ripped through my chest. I was destined to be this, to become this. So much anger, brokenness, hurt, and guilt has led to this moment. People have given up on me, and I on them. I’ve stopped trying to please everyone. They obviously didn’t want me around.” He said, knowing how much it hurts those who cared about him, but not caring much.
