He had been crashing at Star Labs, lately. The little cots downstairs were super uncomfortable, but he felt he had it better than some people. There were days Jay would speed off to his apartment now that he had his speed, but not often. His work around Star Labs was always the same. Running to get faster, testing his abilities, keeping himself up to par. With Zoom showing his face, things had got interesting. At least Caitlin and Harrison seemed to be on his team. He was in the process of going through paperwork when he noticed Cisco in the monitor. He had been brought up to speed about the kid, and part of Jay felt sorry for him. Especially since he was trapped in that prison. He grabbed a water out of the fridge, deciding he’d rather try talking to the kid again not that he didn’t have use of his powers. He was in the pipeline pretty quickly, a bright flash of orange appearing right before Jay did. “You weren’t trying to sleep.” He points out with a chuckle. Jay’s always been a friendly person, but he had to admit he is on guard around Cisco. After their last run in, he didn’t trust him – but he had to try. “I brought you another drink. Caitlin and Barry have left for the day.” He should have left too, but there were still things he needed to do. He hands the water over, crossing his arms over his chest. “How are you holding up?”

Cisco watched as the doors opened to his cell. “Just about as well as one could after losing three weeks of memory.” He sighed, breaking the seal on the water as he turned the cap. “Uh, who are you? I don’t recognize your face. Are you a new hire at STAR Labs?” Cisco wasn’t usually wary around new people, but there was definitely something different about this guy. It was as if they had met before, but Cisco couldn’t put his finger on when or where, so he assumed they met in college. “I gotta warn you. I’m not the safest right now. Or apparently ever. It’d be best to just stay away.”
