“You might have hit your head and uh–you’re experiencing temporary memory loss..” Caitlin lied as smoothly as she could. Would she really jeopardize the first real connections back to the normal Cisco to fill him in on his wicked alter ego that terrorized the city. “Good because you need to lay off those breakfast burritos buddy,” she tapped his stomach before holding tighter to him. Gingerly, she crossed the threshold with him nestled against her.
Cisco could tell she wasn’t telling the whole truth, but he didn’t want to create any more tension than there already was. “Hey now,” He quipped. “Those are a beautiful and delicious way to start each morning. I can’t promise anything.” A smile tugged at the corners of his face, and as she pulled him closer, the smile briefly graced his face. It dropped as they started walking and he really had to focus on putting one foot in front of the other as his foot regained feeling. “So, where exactly are we headed?”
