“No. I’m probably several years older than you are. I wouldn’t have been in college at the same time.” Besides, he went to college on Earth-2. His eyebrow raises at Cisco before he laughs. “I’m from an Earth parallel to this one.” He disappears before the kid has a chance to say anything, though. Honestly, Jay is starving (that seems to be something he’s always dealing with these days), and Big Belly Burger is more than enough to get him out of Star Labs and down the street. The rush of wind causes people to stare, but he doesn’t think too much on it. He forgets these people aren’t aware of seeing a speedster without a mask. He pays for the food, fingers wrapping around both bags as he rushes back to Star Labs. He’s been gone less than five minutes (the food has to cook) and he’s handing the bag to Cisco once he’s able too. “Barry and I have have the same abilities. You’re welcome.” He gestures at the food with his hand, still waiting for Cisco to grab it.

Cisco pushed his hair from his face as the man was gone in a gust of wind. As he was gone, he racked his brain thinking about what Jay had said. “Parallel Earth? You loco, bro?” He responded as the man came back with food. He reached out and grabbed the bag through the open door, his hand touching Jay’s. He was taken aback by the force of the Vibe.

It started off strong. A dark alleyway, Jay on one side and a man covered in shadows wearing glasses. Who wears sunglasses at night, anyway? Cisco asked himself. The next thing he knew, Jay was on the ground and he heard yelling. He couldn’t place the voice, though. It was so familiar, yet so foreign at the same time. Jay was back on his feet, and then knocked back down. The man in the shadows stepped into the light and it hit him like a freight train. He was the man in the shadows.

Cisco snapped out of the vibe and stumbled backward into the wall of his cell. “No. This can’t be.” The bag fell from his hand and he curled in on himself.
