He only knew he had the ability to create some sort of vibrations to knock people on their asses and Jay had gone out of his way to come up with a plan to combat that. He had been messing around with his helmet when he noticed hitting it at super speed created sonic blasts of it’s own. It took a lot of trial and error to learn what his helmet could and couldn’t do. He learned he could toss it at someone’s face and knock them out pretty quickly. He also learned he could use it as a shield to keep Deathstorm’s fireballs from hitting him.}
