Len had gotten better at tracking the cool spot Lisa seemed to leave in her wake. He thought she might be by the bed, but he wasn’t sure where. “I just want to get you some help,” Len said. He rubbed his head. “Ok, Cisco. Do whatever it is you do, please.”
Cisco was nervous. He took a few steps forward, before raising his hand as he continued toward the bed where Lisa’s body lay. He sat on the edge of the bed and dropped his hand to take hold of hers as the vibe hit him like a ton of bricks. He closed his eyes as the events of his episode came rushing back to him in seconds, but he found the will to push that aside to find out where Lisa really was. “Lisa?” He said in his mind, hoping to reach out to the woman. “I know you’re pissed at me. I was an asshole. In my defense, that wasn’t me. Well, it was, but I wasn’t conscious of what I was doing. Something else took over.” He looked around the room he stood in within the vibe, and it was empty. “Lisa? Please, talk to me.”
