hr-wells:

HR’s eyes scanned over the machinery around him as he drummed a far too loud rhythm across the bars in the cortex. Why he was down here, he did not know. Everyone was out catching a metahominin and they left him to sit around and poke at whatever he could get his hands on. He’d walked into a pipeline cell and scanned his eyes over the area, jogged around the speed room, and even tried to figure out what was going on with the computers in the main lab.

To his dismay, nothing seemed to interest HR in this place. It was all tech. Gadgets and gizmos that were foreign to him – and that’s when he realized he should’ve convinced his partner to travel with him. Oh well – he was too far from home now.

Growing bored of the cortex, HR decided to venture upstairs once again only to jump damn near out of his skin when he saw someone standing in the doorway – the dim lighting obscuring the person’s appearance. “God, you scared the dickens out of me,” HR laughed, clutching his heart as a far too wide smile bloomed across his lips.

“You’re the one sneaking around the place, HR.” Cisco said, shifting his bodyweight back to his feet and walking to the computers. “What were you doing, anyway?”
