“Nobody, it doesn’t matter.” Cisco sniffled, using one hand to hold a bag of frozen peas to his face and holding the other close to his body. “I’ll be fine,” he lied.
Lisa looks at Cisco worried and ticked off at whoever did this to him and moves the bag of frozen peas a little to see it better. “Cisco, please tell me. If you don’t tell me I’ll just have to go looking for the answer and find out anyway.” She gently touches around the area to make sure he wasn’t too hurt. “You are going to be okay because I’m going to destroy whoever did this to you.”
“No, Lis. I said it was nothing.” When she touched the bruise around his eye, Cisco flinched, pulling his head back. “Injuries are just a side effect of being a hero.“ Even if it was personal, he thought afterwards. He set the peas down and began to pull off the gauntlet from his injured wrist so he wouldn’t have to damage the tech as his wrist began to swell. He picked the peas up once more and held them to his wrist. “I’ll be fine Lisa, really. Other than maybe a sprain or broken bone and some bruises, I’m completely fine.”
