Lisa wasn’t sure if he was joking or not but either way his words made her give a little laugh. “I’ve never really had any real friends before, besides my big brother. But he goes away from time to time. Most kids won’t talk to me sometimes they’ll make fun of me about my mom  but that’s usually it.” She wasn’t exactly sure what all it meant to be a friend and wanted to learn more about the concept.

She wasn’t used to someone being so open in a positive way and while it took her back at first, she soon found herself smiling. “I like you too. You seem smart and different. People are too much alike around here. What do you want to be when your older?”

“Kids are jerks. I’m sorry they make fun of you.” Cisco said, hanging his head. He stopped pumping his legs and allowed himself ot slow down on the swing. “You know, I like being different. That’s why I was made fun of back home. Everyone thought I was a freak. I never wanted to go and play or hang out because of my experiements. But now, I don’t have those. My parents took them away, said I needed to socialize more.”

He squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head, as if he were trying to shake a memory or thought from his head. His legs began moving again, bringing up the speed he was swinging at. “I want to be a scientist, but my parents want me to learn an instrument, go to a conservatory and be snobbing and stuck up. That’s not for me, though. What you you wanna be when you get older?”
