Peter took a sip of his beer. “Well, there are these things called batteries,” he replied sarcastically. “You just open up this thing,” he said, pointing to the compartment where the batteries were kept, “and you put them in. And then, boom. They play music.” He pressed the play button, and music flowed out of his headphones. “Hooked on a Feeling. Blue Swede. 1974.”
Cisco rolled his eyes at the other. “I get that. But all technology needs upgrades from time to time, even something that takes batteries.” He sat back and listened to the classic song as he threw back the last of his drink.
