“Nobody, it doesn’t matter.” Cisco sniffled, using one hand to hold a bag of frozen peas to his face and holding the other close to his body. “I’ll be fine,” he lied.
Lisa tries to keep her anger at his attackers to a minimum for the time being and just focus on Cisco. As she listens to Cisco explain what they had done she swallowed hard and her hand curled into a fist. She wanted nothing more than to give those idiots the same treatment they showed Cisco. Looking up at Cisco before leaning in and softly kiss him. “Cisco, its going to be okay.” Lisa tucked some of his hair behind his ear. “You should lay down so I can check that side of yours. Will you at least let me do that?”
“Yeah.” Cisco said quietly as he unzipped his jacket, sliding his good arm out and slowly manuvering his other arm out with his jaw clenched. He laid back on the couch with a groan, his breathing shallow. His torso was already beginning to bruise, and his wrist was quite swollen at this point.
