Cisco sat on the floor, his back flush against the wall. He heard the approaching footsteps and began to compose himself. “Nothing, nothing. I’m fine,” he lied, as he wiped the tears from his cheeks. He rose to his feet and resumed his work, trying to ignore the hallucination of his bother that stood in the corner.
‘‘Cisco,I play that card since I was 18 so I know you’re not ok” she came to him touching his shoulder to confort him ‘‘You can tell me,You can trust me..I swear”
Cisco immediately pulled away from the touch. “Jade – I said I’m fine.”Cisco said through clenched teeth. He glanced back up to the corner to see if his brother still stood there. Dante was no longer standing in the corner, but Cisco suddenly heard a “Over here hermano,” from the opposite side of the room. Cisco whipped his head around to look at what seemed like nothing. “Dante -” He muttered, staring at the corner.
