“Dude, come on…” Barry started, pursing his lips together a little as he turned his body slightly so that he could look at Cisco properly, he knew that things had been difficult for him recently, it had been a difficult time for them all. It was just something that they rarely spoke about, they were usually too concerned with the next challenge that they come up against.
“I had no idea…I’m sorry man,” he finally said, his eyes flicking over to look at Cisco for a moment, giving him a small, tight smile. He didn’t know what else he could say that would make any of this any better, that would take away his pain. But he wanted to help, if he could. He always wanted to help. “That explains why you’re always tinkering with things whenever I see you, why you’re never too far away from the lab…”
“Yeah,” Cisco sighed, leaning back into the couch. “It’s not easy, but I appreciate it. Your concern, I mean.” He wanted to get up and run out. That’s all that was going through his mind. He hated being vulnerable, and letting people know that he was struggling. He felt weak, and that was worse than anything else. He’d rather be alone in this than burden his friends with his problems. “So, uh, Big Belly Burger?”
