Kayleigh narrowed her eyes as she watched Cisco bring his hand up to wipe at his nose, her lips thinning into a hard line at the sight of streak of blood coming away when he lowered the appendage again. “We both got lucky this time, we might not a second time and with Caitlin gone, well…” Kayleigh trailed off, her gaze veering off to the side as her voice faded.
Cisco squeezed his eyes shut, blocking the wave of vertigo from taking him down to the floor. “We need to train and make sure it never happens again,” he said plainly, opening his eyes and looking up at Kayleigh. “What happened with Cait was too much. There must have been something more to prevent it from happening at the beginning.”
