Feeling his hand on the skin of her cheek, Amelia looked at him, smiling when he opened his eyes. “Sara found you. She said Darhk went crazy on you.” She looked down. “I came here as soon as I heard.”
Amelia knew Sara still had her problems but she was glad, the blonde had called her directly, before the rest of the team knew.
Ray had been in and out of consciousness for several hours, Damien Darhk got the upper hand when his ATOM suit was malfunctioning.
He felt someone take his hand and his eyes blinked open as she finished her sentence. “Amelia,” he breathed the woman’s name. He went to bring his other hand up to cup her face, but wires and tubes got in the way and he simply placed his hand on his stomach. “How did you know I was here? How did you know to find me?”
Amelia knew about Anna and Felicity. But the difference was, she really loved Ray. Taking his hand, she smiled “Hey, I am not going to leave you. There is nobody else. I… love… you.” She spoke @heart-on-her-sleeve
“Yeah?” Ray looked up at Amelia, his eyes finally fully meeting hers. “I never thought I’d see you again.” The past few months had been hard for Ray. Being away from Amelia, fighting enemies he had previously thought were dead, Ray had nearly given up. There was just so much to fight for, but Ray couldn’t ve happier to be home, even if it meant he was in hospital.
