“Oh, okay. Here, wear this. It’s more resistant to the wind,” Stefan responded, handing the man one of his leather jackets out of the closet. “It’s much warmer than it looks.” Stefan let his fingers linger on the man’s arm, a warm smile being brought to his face. “You are very welcome, Mr.
Mikaelson.”
“Oh thank you” he said happily as he took the jacket slowly putting the jacket on curiously making sure his hood was out of his jacket bouncing on his toes a bit grinning giving a small hum as he noticed the hand on his arm before looking up tilting his head a bit “alright mister Salvatore shall we get some coffee then?”
“You’re welcome,” Stefan beamed, feeling his phone vibrate in his pocket. He pulled it out and saw it was Saltzman. He sent a quick reply and slipped his phone back into his pocket. “Yeah, coffee. Let’s go,” he responded, opening the door for the other. “What’s your favorite kind of drink? I feel like you might be either a super sugary or super dark guy, but not so much an in-between.”
“Oh well thank you” he said happily smiling looking over to the side to see one of his uncles spies run off not sure what would happen next but he suppose he would wait and see his attention soon snapping back to the other humming lightly nodding “it depends on my mood..but you are spot on..today I’m all got a black coffee and what about yourself? What coffee do you fancy?”
“I’m usually a black coffee kind of guy, but I’m feeling like a little cream and sugar today,” Stefan shrugged, leading the way to the coffee shop around the corner from his apartment. He turned his head to look back at the other, noticing an odd familiarity about him for the first time since they’d met. He opened the coffee shop door for the other. “Get whatever you’d like. It’s all on me.”
