“Oooh, good choice. I’m a big fan of blueberry waffle cone. It’s like breakfast in an ice cream,” Tom grinned, wiggling his eyebrows at the other. “Okay, now you ask a question. Is this weird that we’re basically playing 20 questions? That’s weird, isn’t it?”
“I should of guessed you would pick something like that” he mused giggling lightly thinking it was rather cute that that was the others favorite ice cream but he relaxed a bit from where he was tapping his fingers in thought “how about…favorite animal?”
Tom tilted his head to the side, a goofy grin smeared across his face, causing his eyes to crinkle shut. “Hey, what can I say, I love breakfast,” he laughed, his cheeks turning rosy with a light blush. “Oohh. Yikes. That’s actually really hard. Hmm.” Tom paused, tilting his head from side to side as he was deciding between his choices. “I’m gonna have to say something super basic. A dog. More specifically, a Golden Retriever. Man’s best friend.”
“Okay Tom loves breakfast duely noted” he mused giving a small grin watching the other man as his cheeks turning a rosy color which had him chuckling lightly as he waited for the other to respond fidgeting with his blanket swallowing thickly before giggling again “that’s to cute, way to cute of a response”
Tom wiggled his eyebrows at Gerald’s breakfast comment. “Damn straight,” he drawled, his face blushing even more. “I mean, dog is basic. I was going to go with stegosaurus, but that’s a dinosaur, and it’s extinct. So, dog was the next best option.” Tom grinned, realizing he was allowing his dorky side out a little. “What’s yours?”
“The stegosaurus is technically a reptile right?” He asked curiously giving a happy smile as the other talked about the dog. Tom actually reminded him of a golden retriever in the best way possible of course.
“Hmm my favorite animal? I’d say a Leopard or a cheetah..cheetah aren’t technically big cats you know cause they can purr” he told the other giving a small smile.
“Hmm, I guess you’re right,” Tom grinned, humming happily as he got lost in Gerald’s gaze. “Oooh, really? You know, some people say that a person can take on the personality of their favorite animal. Does that mean, you’re super fast?” Tom teased, his grin turning into a mischievous grin.
