“Did you say spiked eggnog?” Ray’s ears practically perked up. “While I don’t celebrate Christmas, I do love cookies and spiked eggnog.”

“I mean, holiday treats have mostly been co-opted by Christmas capitalism, but I do just love little ginger snap cookies.” He pulled a tray out of the fabricator, and slid them onto the table before turning back, “Gideon, two rum infused eggnogs please, extra nutmeg.”

“So what food and drink traditions did you do growing up for Hannukah?”

“You really can’t go wrong with ginger snaps,” Ray smiled, plopping down at the table.

He grabbed a ginger snap, taking a bite before continuing. “During Hannukah, my grandparents would always make the sweets. Sufganiyot and rugelach are the traditional names, and they’re delicious. I think I have a recipe somewhere.”
