• for my canon muses, i’m inspired by the writers that wrote them and the actors that brought these beautiful characters to life in the first place.
• for my OCs–i’ve woven little parts of myself into them. 
• like, Tom’s already kind and sweet in the TVD canon, but that’s’ gotten amplified because I’m full of your typical midwest nice. Tom spent much of his life in the midwest, so it’s been ingrained since the beginning, despite the hardships he’s endured. 
• Allie, on the other hand, lost her parents when she was young. while i didn’t lose both parents, i did deal with the loss of a parent very suddenly when i was 13. while i have worked through my pain and grief, i’ve always wondered what would have happened had i not had people to help lift me out of darkness. [sorry if that’s over sharing…]
