“Wait, really? That’s beautiful. I love it.” Ray leaned over and gave her a quick kiss. “It’s a beautiful tribute.” He was at a loss for words, really. The woman he loved was honoring another woman whom he’d dedicated so much of his life to.

“Hmm, boy names. Raymond Jr?” He laughed, imagining a tiny version of himself running around.

She chuckled and thought. “Hm…. what about Thomas, Oliver or Robert?” Amelia kissed him back. “Whatever we choose, I will love it, anyway.”

“What about we take a long and deserved bath?” She suggested, standing up. “Because I am sure, we both had a long day.”

“I like them all,” Ray smiled. “Here, I’ll go draw a bath and set the mood,” he drawled with a smirk, wiggling his eyebrows.

Ray ran ahead of Amelia, setting tea candles out and lighting them all while warm water poured into the bathtub. He added just enough fragrance to set a relaxing tone to the room. He turned down the lights before cracking open the door. “M’lady?”

“I think she’ll be a fighter, like her Mom,” he cooed, leaning down and kissing her belly before laying his head gently on it. “Neutral is good. Once we officially know, I’ll probably buy all of the cute outfits I see at the store.” Ray grinned before grimacing and sitting back up.

“Our child just kicked me. In the head,” he chuckled, putting his hand where his head just was and leaning close. “Hey little one, you should know you just kicked your dad in the head. This behavior simply can’t continue,” he said in a light tone, laughing along the way.

“Geez, you child hasn’t even left the womb and I’ve just gave them a talking to on kicking people. Am I going to be a terrible Dad?” Ray switched the conversation quickly, sitting back up and looking at Amelia. “What if I’m a bad dad?”

She started to laugh “She probably has no clue, who she just kicked.” Amelia smiled.

Laying her hand on his, she looked at him. “Hey. It’s normal to feel afraid. I do.” Amelia cupped his cheek “But with what I saw you with creating the A.T.O.M. suit and changing my family’s company for the better… I am sure, you will do great as a father. I’m sure of it.”

Ray leaned into Amelia’s hand. “I mean, I’ve faced some of the worst things this Earth has experienced, but I’m afraid of fatherhood?” He paused, taking her hand and holding it in his own. “Thanks, baby. I really needed that.”

“Hey, do you want anything? Lunch, blankets, cuddles?”
