🎃 “I’m sorry, babe. Scaring you seemed like a funny idea at the time. Let me make it up to you?” && 🎃 “It was really sweet of you to give all of your candy to my nephew. It makes me want to give you something sweet too.”(Ray to Amelia)

Amelia smiled. “Of course. He obviously likes it more then me.” Raising a brow, she smirked “Any chance of letting me choose how to let you make it up?”

Ray lifted Amelia up, balancing her so she was sitting on his hips. He dove in for a kiss as he carried her to the bedroom, never breaking contact. He laid her easily on the bed, taking only seconds to pull his shirt off and dive back into the kiss.

“I think she’ll be a fighter, like her Mom,” he cooed, leaning down and kissing her belly before laying his head gently on it. “Neutral is good. Once we officially know, I’ll probably buy all of the cute outfits I see at the store.” Ray grinned before grimacing and sitting back up.

“Our child just kicked me. In the head,” he chuckled, putting his hand where his head just was and leaning close. “Hey little one, you should know you just kicked your dad in the head. This behavior simply can’t continue,” he said in a light tone, laughing along the way.

“Geez, you child hasn’t even left the womb and I’ve just gave them a talking to on kicking people. Am I going to be a terrible Dad?” Ray switched the conversation quickly, sitting back up and looking at Amelia. “What if I’m a bad dad?”

“Mm-hm,” He responded, his hand reaching out for Amelia’s. As the nurse came in, she administered the pain medication. As the medication kicked in, Ray slowly opened his eyes and looked at Amelia. “I’m not leaving. I’m staying right here.”

It had been a few weeks since he got out of the hospital. Amelia was now 5 months pregnant, and she enjoyed everything of it. Thea and Felicity were the perfects aunts already, holding a baby shower for her.

Thea’d just dropped Amelia off, helping her with all presents.

Sitting down on the couch, Amelia caressed her baby bump, softly singing some lullaby to the baby.

Ray swung open the door, setting his bag down and calling out. “Honey, I’m home!” He paused, laughing as he picked up his bag once again. “I’ve always wanted to do that.” Ray set the bags from the Waverider in the bedroom and joined Amelia on the couch. His hand cradled Amelia’s baby bump, his smile never leaving his face. “How are you? How’s our little one?”
