“Okay, Cait. Whatever you say.” Cisco giggled, putting a hand on his friend’s elbow to help guide her way. “Let’s get you home, hmm? Maybe we can have a movie night and wear our onesies sometime.”

“That was a good joke Cisco. You actually got me there for a minute.” Lisa says with a laugh of relief until she noticed his facial expression hadn’t changed. Her laugh slowly faded into a sound of discontent. “You weren’t joking were you? Cisco, seriously? The last thing I would ever expect you to ask me is to go a dinner with your parents. What am I supposed to say? Hi my name’s Lisa and I kiss your son?”

“I’m not joking, Lis. They came to me, not the other way around.” Cisco said with a stoic expression. “Be you. Be the woman that I spend my time with. Be the woman I’m in love with.” He closed the gap between them and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulled her close, and kissed her softly. “I’m sure they’ll love you.”

chiimonster:

imagine person A of your otp having a brush with death, but coming out alive and well. imagine person B having awful nightmares about losing them, and in the middle of the night going to person A and resting their head against A’s chest to listen to their heartbeat, just to reassure themself that person A is still alive.
