“Honestly? Yes.” Cisco responded, nursing his arm as he held it close to his body. “I won’t tell you what you want, nothing you can do will make me talk.”
Person A is in bed reading a book. Person B enters and climbs into bed with them. Without looking up person A raises their arm so that person B can crawl under and snuggle up with them. Person B falls asleep.
Cisco applied pressure to the woman’s wound. “Yeah, ‘You should see the other guy’, right?” He laughed nervously. “Lisa, I hate it when you go out without backup. I could have helped prevent this.”
“Beautiful, Honey!” Cisco beamed, looking at the child’s drawing with pride. “You know, you are getting better and better at drawing. Look! You even drew Mommy and Daddy holding hands.” The smile grew even wider when he looked up at his wife. She was picking up a few of their daughter’s toys in preparation for dinner with friends later that evening. “You’ll have to show everyone at dinner tonight, sweetheart. Now, let’s go help Mommy clean up.” He said, standing up his feet and taking his daughter’s hand.
Cisco set down his tools and turned in his chair to see his daughter enter the room, swimming in her mother’s leather jacket. “I see someone’s up from her nap!” He was impressed at how quiet his daughter was after waking, and smiled as he scooped her into his arms. “How’s about we go for a ride on Daddy’s bike instead?”
