Mick didn’t know what made him want to go for walk through the park, he was getting cooped up in the safe house surrounded by the Rogues, Leonard was planning his next heist so he was the next target of the stupid idiots problems and pranks. Walker was lucky he wasn’t a bonfire right about now.

Usually the first place he went was somewhere he could light something without getting in trouble if they were laying low, or Saints so he could grab a drink but the weather pushed him towards the park; and he was glad it had. Only moments after he had stepped into the park, he could hear a voice singing softly, it was one of his favourite songs too so he followed it but what he found caused him great surprise.

The nerdy scientist that Lisa had wrapped around her little finger could sing. And could sing good.

Debating for a moment, Mick moved forward and dropped down onto the grass a few feet away from the latino man and listened to him play intently.

Cisco looked up from the strings when he saw a figure sit down. He dropped the pick into his lap and his fingers glided over and between the strings as his continued to finger pluck the melody with some ornamentations added in. “Hey there,” He smiled, the music filling the silence that normally made him feel so uncomfortable.

Lisa couldn’t help but be nervous after she sent the message. Even though she knew he was at work, she would check the computer about once an hour. She felt like a silly teen girl waiting by the phone for her crush to call, which…wasn’t exactly the case. Well, it wasn’t the whole case at least. Lisa decided to distract herself by having a movie marathon as she found any little cleaning project to do in her small cabin home on the far outskirts of the city. She always cleaned when she was nervous or just didn’t know what to feel. As the extended edition of the second Hobbit movie draws to a close she hears her laptop ding letting her know she had a message. Lisa gets up from her bed and goes to her desk. A smile appearing on her face as she reads his message. She waits to respond for another good five minutes to at least give the illusion that she had a life. Besides she had no clue how to greet him, she couldn’t exactly say nice to meet you, obviously for a reason only she knew.

“Hi Cisco. Thank you for your response. No worries there, my whole problem is I always hold back so that plan sounds pretty comfortable from my end. Honestly there isn’t much to know about me. Just put most of the songs from Kelly Clarkson and Linkin Park together and that’s me. But anyway, how are you doing today?”

She hits enter and then as her nervousness settles she re-reads what she had written. “Thank you for your response? What am I a freaking robot? I really don’t have much skill at social interaction.” Lisa says to herself with a laugh and a shake of her head as she looks around at her lonely residence.

A notification popped up on Cisco’s phone and when he saw it was from Julie, his face lit up. He paused his movie and focused his attention on the phone.
“I’m alright. Long day at work’s got me super tired. Just lying around watching LOTR, though. wbu?”

Cisco felt his stomach flutter. Why was he getting excited about talking to someone from this site? He had listerally just met the woman, but not even in person. Many people had messaged him before, but nothing ever came form it. Who’s to say this isn’t going to turn out the same?

HE set his phone down on his chest and turned his attention back to the movie.

“Sweet!” Cisco was beyond excited. He always noticed almost forced excitement from his friends and coworkers when he wanted to show them something. This genuine excitement from a practical stranger was amazing. “What would you like to see?”

“Your lab. Or your blueprints. Things you invented along the way but didn’t put out? I don’t know, I don’t care.” Landon said. He’d take anything.

“There’s hundreds of things I’ve invented that haven’t seen the light of day. A few I’ve actually made prototypes.” He smiled, leading the way to his lab. He pulled out his keycard and tapped it against the panel, unlocking the door. “Welcome to my lab, Landon. This is where the magic happens,” Cisco said with a smile as he watched the other’s face.
