☱ – Lisa (Meme ask)

Diary Entries || “Leave a  ☱ in my askbox for an entry that’s about you.”

Monday, ½, 3am

Damn. What a dream. Okay. I just woke up from the most amazing dream. Much better than waking up from the usual flashback nightmare of my death.

Lisa and I were dating, and we were on the most romantic dinner date. Gah! It was so amazing. We started with dinner at an Italian Restaurant, and then we were walking hand in hand around Central City. God, what I wouldn’t give to make that a reality. It probably never will. Oh well, can’t dwell on something that was never there to begin with. Back to sleep I go.

So this kid somehow got around all my new security measures. Why the hell does this always happen? I’m beginning to think I need to put keycard readers eve.ry.where. Anyways, He’s Snart’s kid, and he’s got these wicked kicks that create ice under his feet and he just skates around like its nothing. So cool. I gotta make myself some of those. He was super annoying at first, but he seemed like a pretty cool kid. (I secretly hope I see him again.)
Wow. Look at the time. I should probably try and fall asleep. Cisco, out!

“you are weak. you are nothing.”

    Oh really?

The words hit a nerve- since that was exactly what he used to think he was. Weak. Nothing special. He had gotten better at this, slowly built his self confidence up from the scratch, but to hear this from someone that looked so much like him? Was him, in a sense? Still a low blow.

Then who are you?” Arms crossed, he hid the hurt behind a challenging look.Cause it’s kind of like you’re insulting yourself here, you know. Self punching. You’ve gotta love yourself more, man.

“I’m you. Just, different, I suppose.” He sneered, a sinister smirk pulling at the corners of his mouth. “I have a high enough regard here where nothing can break down the walls. I’m just here to put you back in line.”

After a run in with Barry, he informed Lisa that Cisco has also lost a brother just as she had. That next day Lisa goes into the city to Cisco’s apartment building and waits around the corner. Hood up and keeping her face in the shade to avoid being recognized. It wasn’t long until she watched him leave in his car and with that she casually walked into the building towards his apartment. Using her skills she breaks into his apartment, careful not to make it obvious that someone was in there. As she looks around she notices a grief website and user name. Lisa copies the information onto her hand and quickly goes back home; creates an account under a fake name and sends him a message. “Hi, I’m Julie. I found your profile and I think we have some things in common. I’ve recently lost my big brother and I really don’t have anyone else to talk to. Would you possibly be interested in chatting for a bit? I understand if you don’t want to.” She couldn’t help but be hesitant and nervous about sending the message. While she does trust him, she still has that wall up and convinced herself that her reputation was too much to look past for anyone to take her seriously.

When Cisco got home, he saw a notification on his dash. Who is Julie? He thought to himself as he clicked on her profile and scrolled through. Wow, they did have things in common. He decided to reply. “Hi Julie. The name’s Cisco. I’d love to chat, just know that the wounds are still pretty fresh, so I might hold back until we know more about each other.” Cisco knew this was going to be hard, but he knew he needed to talk about it. If he didn’t want to go see a shrink, at least he could talk to someone who knew what he was going through.

Harley laughed at him
“You and what army?” She asked him her bat coming in one hand and her other reaching for her gun
“If ya think you can get past me then you’ve either gotta lot of stupid or a lotto guts.”

“Oh, honey. I don’t need an army.” He said with a menacing smirk. “I was going to let you be, but now you just opened up a whole different can of worms.” He raised his arm up and shot a blast of vibrations toward the streetlamp that had illuminated where they stood. Now in darkness, Cisco reached up and pushed a small button on his glasses, turning on the nightvision. “Now what are you to do?”

Comms? Barry wasn’t quite sure what comms were… On his Earth it was unlikely anyone had a recording device, and speakers and microphones were in their intimacy. Only used during stageplays and usually about the size of a chocolate chip. Barry wasn’t sure if that’s what he meant, or something else. Regardless, he went along with what the guy was saying, nodding his head.

“Comms are great. Great job as always, Cisco,” he said with a smile, attempting to act friendly in order to throw him off of the awkward answer.

“You sure? Things kept cutting in and out. I think your body’s vibrations are throwing things off.” Cisco was becoming more and more skeptical of Barry. “But maybe that was just on my end. We can do some test runs later.” He tried to play it off, but he knew it was a crap job. He was never good at hiding his thoughts.

“Hm.” Landon said, face not revealing how he felt about that- at least not beyond the same little smile. He still thought of Cisco as a genius, but he seriously had to wonder if the technician was blanking on something. It wasn’t like Leonard Snart had a grown son in 2017. “I remember. He’s such a newcomer, and yet The Flash’s own team already  found him and has a deal with him. What luck that guy has.”

“I guess the guy knew where to look.” He said, turning back to his computer and typing away. “So wait, why did you come to STAR Labs? Why spend an afternoon breaking into and hanging out with a lame engineer like myself?”
