Xander nodded slowly. “Have you found anyway to identify meta humans?” If it was something in their genes it was unlikely he could eradicate it simply but maybe there was a way to cancel out his powers. “Is there anything else you know about them?”
“Not really,” he sighed. “We’re actively researching, but it might be a while before anything new is uncovered.” Cisco finished off his coffee with a big gulp before answering. “People tend to take advantage of these newfound powers. I’ve met very few that use their powers for good or not at all. They’re few and far between.”
Landon stepped forward, trying to check out whatever new tech it was that Cisco was working on. Man, it was cool. He raised an eyebrow at the question. “No, I definitely did not answer your question. How many times are you going to ask?”
“As many times as it takes, pretty boy.” He said through clenched teeth, side stepping in an attempt to block the stanger’s view of his work. “Now if you don’t step back, I will make you.” He lifted an arm, his palm facing the man. The threat escaped his lips effortlessly, knowing he could use his powers to protect himself and his lab if this dude didn’t get the memo. He didn’t want to hurt the guy, but he couldn’t read whether or not he was a threat.
