Helena cocked her head. “Have I hurt you? I thought we shared something lovely.”
“Yeah, kinda. You left without a trace. No note, no text. So yeah, I’m a bit bitter. I gotta go.” Cisco said, turning and walking the same way he came.
“You didn’t like me calling you Cisco. I think you liked playing grownup with me.” Helena smirked, moving closer and sheathing her crossbow, slowly pressing her lips to his cheek. “Perhaps I just missed you.”
“Or maybe I was just hiding my real life from you.” Cisco said in a snarky tone as he pulled away from the woman’s kiss. “Seriously though. Why are you here?”
She took the seat opposite him and folded her hands on top of the table, laughing and shaking her head at the use of the curse word. It didn’t bother her; she found it to be endearing. She cleared her throat at his question and then straightened her posture. “Right, uh… Cisco,” she began, chewing her lip, “are we… okay?”
“I thought so, are we not?” Cisco asked, cocking his head to the side. “Sorry if I’m a little off. I’m dealing with a lot in here.” He said, tapping his temple.
