Lian looked into his eyes and couldn’t help but keep a smile on her face, “I get off in….“ Looking at her cellphone before back at him, “In a few minutes actually.” She couldn’t help but blush again, and she still hadn’t eaten. “I would love to go out to dinner with you.”

“Wait, really? I wasn’t actually expecting a yes,” He chuckled, pulling a few bills out and cashing out his tab. “If you’re super hungry, we can go to big belly burger, or this new fast food italian place, or if you wanna sit down and have a decent meal, then we can go somewhere else.” Cisco smiled at the woman and leaned his chin on his hand again. “Whatever you’d like.”

Violet narrowed her eyes. “People don’t change like that, Cisco. You changed because you’re a metahuman. He’s just a horrible person, there’s a difference. He literally tried to kill Barry, Cisco. Why are you giving him the benefit of the doubt.”

“People do change, Violet.” Cisco sighed, playing with a string on his hoodie. “Well, yeah. I forgot about that. Damn. Yeah. I should have thought that whole 48-hour period out better.” He said, ignoring the question. “Do you want anything? There’s snacks and ice cream and alcohol if you want it. I mean, this is your place too, kind of.”

Hartley laughed. “Because it was for science. And you wanted me to keep going to it was only right that you not wiggle around. Clearly the you that has no control is a whole lot better at controlling himself than the you /with/ control,” he teased. “I can do it again and we can test how /this/ you will react if you’d like. Again, all for science, of course.”

“For science, my ass. Hartley, you’re a terrible liar.” Cisco laughed, grabbing pillows and setting them in his lap as some form of protection. “I’m good. Do you have any questions for me?”

Lian couldn’t help but giggle as a blush was very present on her face. She never got used to people giving her compliments. “Why thank you, handsome.” Lian said looking it his eyes as she looked him over. He was cute, she found nerdy cute no matter what anyone said.

Cisco flashed the woman a smile. “Hey, what time do you get off? Any chance I could take you out to dinner or out for a walk or something? I do realize that probs sounds uber creepy, but it’s better than going back to my place to watch reruns of Doctor Who.”

iriswestreporter:

“Sounds like it is. I’m sure whatever you’re going through it’ll all work out,” she smiled before sipping her drink. “Aside from all the frustration how’s everything at STAR labs?”

“That’s a good question. I haven’t really been around much in the last month or so. Bar and I had an, um. Falling out of sorts. We’re good now. I should be going back to work soon.” Cisco leaned his head on his hand and looked at the woman. “How’s work for you? Ms. Reporter lady?”

rathawayxhartley:

Hartley shook his head. “No, you’re sweet but as long as it’s not too loud I’m okay. Though, I’m never opposed to talking.” Hartley set the timer for 30 minutes and went into the fridge, retrieving a cider. “I’m sure you have questions for me.”

“Oh just a few. First of all, how the hell did you get me to sit still while you got all handsy? Because I don’t just sit still when something that major is happening. Like, seriously.” He said before taking a draw from his bottle.
