Since Jacqueline only had a year, she tried High School, it didn’t matter to her to really pay attention in class. Taking out her phone, she started to check her messages and started to text everyone back. “Miss Mikaelson! What are you doing?!” The teacher called her out, for already so many times. “Principal’s office, young lady.“Jacky sighed deeply and grabbed her stuff. It wasn’t she wasn’t used to it, by now but she didn’t like it either.
When Jacq’s name was called out, Matt’s head snapped up from his own phone, hidden within physics textbook. “It’s not her fault,” he blurted, his face going red. “I was the one texting her.” He was half out of his seat by now, his phone visibly laying on his textbook where the teacher could see it. Their teacher looked over their glasses, brow raised. “You too. Principal’s office, now.” Matt quickly gathered his things, following his friend out of the classroom with his arms full. He sighed as the exited the classroom, but not before the door swung shut. “Do you think the Principle will be surprised when we show up together?” Matt grinned, looking over at his friend.
“Sure thing, boss!” Clark said enthusiastically, maybe too enthusiastic. He knew he had a lot of desk work to do that day, so he mentally added to the top of his to-do list. His brows raised at the mention of a new story to follow. “Hmm?”
Clark pushed up his glasses as his eyes scanned the information on the tablet. “Right. Can do, Sir,” he nodded, looking back up at Perry. “Should this be expedited or..?”
Shaking his head, Perry moved to sit, “No, I’m interested in playing the long game on this one. I want cold, hard facts. Things no one can dispute, I want to know what he’s up to. I have a hunch, and when I have a hunch, there’s a story there.”
“Right, of course,” he nodded. “I’ll start with finding some leads, I can pull Lois in on this, too, if you’d like.” He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, still standing on the opposite side of the desk. “What angle would you like for me to come from?”

“What? I’m fine. What’s with the namecalling? Geez,” Matt’s words were so obviously slurred, as he had a few too many to drink. “I can walk myself, thankyouverymuch.”
Ella silently narrowed her eyes at the man, contemplating how to drag the drunk man home.”You obviously cannot walk by yourself, since you can barely stand by yourself. So either take the help willingly or this is about to get a bit more physical than you would probably like, alrighty?”
“Really,” he huffed, his hands attempting to adjust his shirt. “I’m fine.” He stood from his seat and placed a couple bills on the counter, more than enough to cover his tab. His steps faltering as he made his way towards the door, Matt leaned against other tables and chairs along the way. “See? ‘M fine!”
I originally made this blog as part of a larger group, but when that fell through I found myself still wanting to write Cisco (among others), so this became an indie canon-divergent blog & I’m so glad it did. Thanks for sticking through with me as I left the rpc, coming back just a few months ago when I decided to revamp Cisco and add a multimuse (@heart-on-her-sleeve).
I’d love to add so, so, many threads in 2020. Even in just the past couple weeks I’ve realized new things about myself through writing. It’s through this writing that I pour out my heart, wearing it on my sleeve so often, hence the url of my multi. You all are such beautiful souls, and I’m so lucky to be writing with such amazing partners.
Y’all have been so incredibly wonderful & supporting, fueling my crazy plots and headcanons until we’re both typing furiously to get our thoughts out and to each other. I can’t tell you how many times I wake up in the morning and see new notifications that I have a new reply. It brings me such joy that people want to interact with my muses when many days I don’t feel adequate enough to write these amazing characters. Thanks for sticking it out with me, everyone. You all are so incredibly amazing!
Disclaimer: None of these are in any particular order, I just typed as they came to mind. I’ve also probably forgotten so, so many people, and if I have, I apologize! I love you all so dearly!
Stefan’s watchful eye followed Klaus’ movements, his brow raised as the other invited Amelia over. His eyes glanced over her face and traveled down her body & back up, zeroing in on her neck. “ Amelia, ” he drawled. “ Welcome. ” Stefan’s eyes flicked back to Klaus as he mentioned his favorite.“ She’s marvelous, truly. May I? ” He asked, keeping his eyes on Klaus but tilting his head to the woman in question.
Klaus gestured towards the young girl who seemed almost eager as she watched Stefan. ❝ By all means, ❞ the original said with a smile. ❝ What’s mine is yours. ❞ For anyone who actually knew Klaus, they’d understand the grand gesture. He saw something in the younger vampire, something of a kindred spirit. Perhaps he just really needed a friend, or perhaps his curiosity was getting the better of him. Either way, for someone who wasn’t known for sharing their toys, he was very obliging. His eyes never blinked as they studied the way his new friend moved towards the prey.
Stefan lifted his chin a few centimeters before dropping it again, his eyes shadowed, filled with thirst as he moved closer to the woman. He sat beside her, his fingers moving meticulously as he brushed her hair to the side. Closing his eyes, he listened, the beat in her chest was like music to his ears. The veins around his eyes became prominent as he dove in, the ache in his belly gone as his thirst was quenched. He listened as he heartbeat grew faint, coming up with his eyes still closed, reeling in the bliss. “ Care for a taste? ” Stefan wasn’t one to share, especially now, but he was feeling unexpectedly generous with his newfound friend.
was going to say “at least i’m a better person than my father” but that’s? such a low bar, really? but it’s also not a lie, technically, so. better person than my father! at least. just casually stepping over that nearly-on-the-floor bar
