Violet nodded, reaching in her pocket and pulling out a purple key, holding it up against the glass for him to see. “Don’t try remembering too much, alright? It’s not important. What’s important is that you are everything that I wanted to be when I first started trying to track you down. You have never let me down and you have never disappointed me. I’ve never had a family until I met you. And yeah I thought you were a terrorist at first. But I love you, Cisco. You’ve never hurt me and I don’t think you ever will.”
As Violet spoke, Cisco rested his forehead on his knees, not wanting his little sister to see him cry. The tears fell quickly. He’d never had one of his family members tell him he wasn’t a disappointment. He hadn’t heard a truly genuine ‘I love you’ in a long time from his own blood. Cisco was at a loss for words, and he kept his head down, avoiding her gaze.
