Hartley looked hurt and his gaze flickered down to his lap. “I was making sure she wasn’t dangerous to you,” he said softly. “You never mentioned having a sister ever and all of a sudden here she is and I don’t know any details or even her name and her ratty looking backpack was right there and I wanted to check for weapons.”

Cisco laid a gentle hand on Hartley’s knee. “I appreciate your concern, but do you think I would let someone dangerous into my apartment, let alone live here? Violet is harmless, Hartley.” He paused, taking the remote and pausing the movie as he heard the opening soundtrack. “I never mentioned her because most people in my life know about her. You kind of just came back, and my first thought wasn’t to tell you about my half-sister. Now, are we going to watch the movie or not?” He asked, nudging the man with his palm.

“Because there’s a part of you that is still good.” He could never get through to Reverb. Part of Jay hadn’t even tried. Cisco was another story, though. He may not be close, but he had watched him for several months. He had been one of Barry Allen’s closest friends. “Everyone is turning on each other.” This wasn’t right. “There’s always going to be Team Flash.” Just because they weren’t together didn’t mean it would always be that way. “There’s a hurdle. I understand.” Pulling a team together was hard work. A bit frustrating, really. “If you really don’t care about Barry Allen, so be it. Zoom will tear him to pieces in front of everyone.” Jay would only be able to stop it if he had his speed back. And even then, it may not be as simple as he was hoping.

“Oh, you think so?” Cisco quipped. “This is no hurdle, it’s a cliff, and after Barry pushed me away, I jumped off. There’s no way to get back, and I don’t plan on going back. I’m also not going to let you sit there and feed me stories to try and get me to go back. Give my regards to whats left of Team Flash.” Cisco said before turning on his heel and walking the opposite direction.

“Did you look through her things?” Cisco groaned, already knowing the answer. “Hartley! That’s not okay! You don’t just look through people’s things!” Cisco crossed his arms, and glared at Hartley. “I’m aware she doesn’t do the most legal of things, but as long as she doesn’t get arrested, I’m pretty fine with it. I actually have no idea if she’s even alive right now. I vibed about her a few days ago and left a voicemail for someone who could save her better than I at the time. I haven’t heard anything.” Cisco paused, taking a deep breath before his emotions get the better off him. “But seriously. That’s like, the number one rule. Don’t go through a woman’s things.”

“I should have known. You poor thing.” Cisco teased, plopping down on the couch after putting the movie in. “My sister? She’s…sisterly? Just like any other sister. Annoying, but adorable. Hard to stay mad at her for too long.” Cisco paused and stared at the door leading out to the balcony that he’d just gotten replaced. “She’s awesome, but I’m not really sure where she is, or if she’s even still alive. That’s the worst thing.”

He’s not sure how long he can handle the vibrations being sent towards him. Cisco’s not trying to hurt him, but without his speed. He can’t exactly stop it. This is what, the second time he’s got up? “Can you stop with that? Seriously, if I was going to hurt you, I would have done it by now.” He doesn’t understand this kids problem. If anything, he’s more like Reverb now than anything. Only, Reverb would have probably tried killing him by now. “Look, my intentions are strictly to help The Flash. If he doesn’t want to step up, that’s going to be a problem.” His hands are up, trying to show he means no harm to anyone. “I am trying to regain my speed. Caitlin Snow is helping. She can confirm my story.”

“Why should I?” Cisco taunted, crossing his arms. “Why would you want to help the Flash? He obviously doesn’t want help.” He said bitterly. “I don’t associate with Team Flash anymore. Hell, there isn’t a Team Flash anymore. Just the Flash.”

Caitlin didn’t know how to remedy this without telling him what he’s done. She had a odd inkling that the emotional destress could have him backslide. She crouched down in front of him, holding his hands. “You’re okay now, Cisco..”

“I know,” Cisco sighed. “I’m just confused, and my head is starting to hurt from trying to remember.” He said, keeping his head still but letting his eyes search the cell, eventually finding Caitlin’s face as she took his hands. “What happened, Cait? What did I do? I have a feeling it wasn’t good if I’m here now.”
