“Fine,” Hartley looked mildly offended that his solution was rebuffed. “I thought you brought me here so that I could help you,” he grumped after Cisco as he left the room. Hartley did, however, take this opportunity to look around the room. There was a ratty looking backpack on the bed and Hartley could only hope that it didn’t belong to Cisco. He had far more faith in Cisco’s fashion sense. He wrinkled his nose and unzipped the pack, raising his eyebrows at the almost empty bottle of rum and laptop. He looked further and found 5 different fake IDs, 3 burner phones, a wallet full of credit cards under different names, 3 different clothing pairs and a ziplock with a large wad of cash. Hartley scoffed to himself and put the backpack back, finally going back into the living room. “So. The Hobbit, huh?”

“Yeah. Bilbo goes on an adventure with some short fat guys. Essentially.” Cisco grinned, not wanting to give out too many details to Hartley. “Have you seen it before?” He asked, grabbing some blankets from the coffee table chest and tossing them on the sectional couch.

Hartley slowly approached Cisco, reaching out and gently resting a hand on his shoulder. “Let me distract you, Cisquito. You need to release this emotion surge, alright? Repressing it will make it even more dangerous when it comes out. Have you ever tried sexual release? The endorphins theoretically should get it in control.”

“No, and I’m not really wanting to right now.” Cisco said moving his body so the man’s hand fell from his shoulder. “Thanks, but no thanks, Hart. I know how to handle my emotions.” He stepped around the man and headed out to the living room.

Hartley sighed, opening the door and leaning against the wall. “Cisquito. Podemos ver una película juntos. No burlarse de usted. Nos podemos besar para hacerte sentir mejor.” The spanish was spoken softly and cajolingly. “That way you don’t have to repress your emotions we can just redirect it, alright?”

“Eso no lo hace mejor las cosas, Hartley. No sé dónde está mi hermana o si está aún con vida.” Cisco muttered, the spanish rolling off his tongue. “Fine. She’s probably just fine and all curled up on Cold’s couch.” he said, spinning his desk chair around. “How does The Hobbit sound? I promise I’ll keep my commentary to a minimum.” He said with a small smile. Cisco could still feel the energy surging through his body. He needed  to calm down.

Hartley looked offended. “What does my ego have anything to do with anything? You kissed me.”

“Hartley-” Cisco said through clenched teeth, his voice wavering. He looked about his office. It was the room he transformed for Violet. The desk sat in the corner, and her purple bedspread brightened the room. How was Violet? Was she even alive? Emotions were running rampant and he felt the power building up within him but he wouldn’t let it out. He couldn’t let it out. If he did, he probably would level half the city. Instead of releasing the power, Cisco slammed his fists down on his desk. “Just shut up!!” He screamed, his jaw clenched and eyes squeezed tightly shut.

Hartley rolled his eyes, following the upset little man and leaning against the doorframe and folding his arms. “Why are you so upset with me? I don’t understand what I did wrong.”

Cisco sat at his head with his head in his hands, breathing slowly. He couldn’t let himself lose control. Not after finally gaining full control. “Hartly, entertain yourself for a few. I just need to be alone.” He paused, knowing the man would probably not let up.  “My emotions are getting the best of me, and that’s not good.”

rathawayxhartley:

“I’m not interested in being polite nor am I interested in being heterosexual. You ramble constantly and your movie commentary hardly touches on any of the real world applications of the movie science that could actually be useful. Also, your morality is confusing. Why is kissing me not taking advantage of my supposedly altered state? In addition, what purpose would putting a movie on serve if we don’t watch it?”

“Ugh!” Cisco groaned. “You are so infuriating, Hartley. Do you realize that?” He walked around the counter and headed toward his office. “If you need me, I’ll be in the other room.” Cisco said before walking down the hallway and shutting the door.
