“Nor are my inhibitions lowered thus I highly doubt I’m even ‘tipsy.’” Hartley set his jaw. “And the last thing I want to do is watch a movie with you. Your commentary is rambling at best.”

Cisco held up his pointer finger, looking offended. “Okay, rude. I do not ramble, and I give great movie commentary. We can put a movie on, and we don’t even have to watch it.” He grinned.

Caitlin nodded gently knowing not of his reasoning but that he was clearly disoriented. “Yeah, she’s been more worried about you–” she muttered wetting the gauze with some rubbing alcohol. We were all worried. “That’s fine, please sit down. We will assess your cognitive progressing and get you some food?”

Cisco leaned against the wall of the cell and slid down to the floor. He began to really question what happened. He stared at the open door behind Caitlin. “Okay, yeah. That sounds good.” He bit his lip and his eyes wandered.

rathawayxhartley:

“I don’t know. I don’t know anything about this ‘dark Cisco’. I’m assuming you’re too virginal to actually have sex but I’m sure you’ll venture into some moderate petting. Thus, I must be properly imbibed.”

Cisco scoffed and rolled his eyes. “Believe whatever you will, Hartley.” He was quickly regretting giving Hartley liquor. “You’re not sober, so that wouldn’t happen anyway. I’m not going to take advantage of you like that. Not happening. There’s plenty of movies, though.”

Barry flinched a bit at the sharp tone, but nodded.  “Okay.  If that’s what you want okay.  I..”  He sighed, standing and moving back out of the cell.  “Sleeping bag, pillow…any snacks?  Or maybe your laptop?  Anything.”  Barry was pleading, begging him to request something. He needed to care for his friend somehow, knowing he was inadequate in every other way.

Cisco saw his friend flinch and immediately felt guilty. “I’m sorry. I just don’t want to be more of a burden than I already am in this situation. I’m okay though. You can bring that stuff if you’d like. I mean, I don’t really know how fast sleep might come, so.” He shrugged, hugging his legs tighter to his chest. I just want to go home, Cisco thought to himself as he looked up to Barry.

Hartley tensed at the hug. “Okay but now you’re acting more like before because last time I checked evil people don’t hug.” Hartley sighed, slipping out of the hug and going back to where his hard cider was, hoping to raise his blood alcohol level by another tenth of a point.

“What can I say? You make me weak in the knees.” Cisco paused as the man walked away. “Okay, ew. I am never saying that again. You know, if you keep drinking like you are, you’re going to have one hell of a hangover come tomorrow morning. You sure you don’t want anything to drink?” He asked, walking to the kitchen.

Caitlin watched him from behind the glass for a moment, the kink in her brow deepened. “You don’t remember–anything?” She punched in the code, watching the iron grate clicking out of place and opening before her. “Your sister is fine, Cisco.” She stepped gingerly closer to him, “did you hit you head? I’ve been watching the monitors all night–” her voice lowed as she stared at him.

“Nada. The last I remember I vibed off the note Vi left in my apartment and left Len a voicemail telling him to go find her.” Cisco let out a sigh of relief. “Thank God! I don’t know what I would have done if she wasn’t.” He tensed as she stepped closer to him. He couldn’t recall how in control he was and he was afraid he might hurt his friend. “I don’t think so. I don’t remember a thing. I might have, I don’t know. Maybe when Oliver took me down?”
