{Cisco’s response to Vi’s letter}

Cisco,

I’m not sure when you’ll read this or when you’ll get back in town but I thought you deserved an explanation. I was just as stupid as ever. Actually worse. See, finding people that I love? That was actually a really bad idea for me. Because I got all cocky and stuff. And I messed up. I owe this man. I don’t know his name. But the Los Lobos in Detroit… They’re friends with my mom. Well… They were. I mean. She died, I guess. But my second cousin. He called me and said I needed to help the family business. And I thought I should because that’s what family does, right? Helps each other? And I had to go fix a problem with this other gang. I don’t want to say their name. Frankly, it doesn’t even matter. But I got in over my head. I tried to steal back a lot of blood money and I got caught. It’s purely my fault. So, I’ve decided to stop trying to be something I’m not. Hell, maybe I’m not even your half-sister. Maybe it’s just a coincidence and this entire time I’ve just been delusional. But Barry told me that he was tired of my dramatics. He told me that I need to leave him alone. So this is me ending the melodrama. I know it seems counterintuitive given that suicide is a pretty dramatic way to go but they were going to kill me anyway. The leader is a meta. He’s in my head, somehow. And the only way to pay my debt was to give information on the Flash. Obviously I was not going to give useful information but I was idiotic to think I could have it all. I just wanted to say that I love you. You can use your powers for good, too, Cisco. Just don’t make the mistake Barry is. You need a support group. You’ll go insane if you don’t.

Thank you for being apart of my life even just for this short period,

Violet

Cisco fumbled with his keys as he made his way up to his apartment. The door swung open to an empty apartment. Vi must be out still, or over at the Queen’s place. He dropped his duffle on the floor and his keys felt to the counter with a crash as he crossed to the fridge for a beer. As he took the top off, he noticed a note on the counter. Hmm, maybe a shopping list? Vi must have been craving mint chocolate chip ice cream again. He thought with a smile. He unfolded the note with ease, sipping his beer as he began to read.

You deserved an explanation. “An explanation for what?” Cisco said aloud to himself as he continued to read. Barry told me he was tired of my dramatice. He told me I need to leave him alone.  “Aw, Hell no. Nobody tells my sister than without going though me. What a jerk.” Suicide. Cisco immediately stopped reading, feeling the energy building up in his system. He dropped the note and brought his hand to his face. She wouldn’t. Violet wouldn’t. She’s a sweetheart. She can’t. Why? Why was this happening now? Cisco picked the letter back up and saw as the room changed around him.

It was dark, cold, and eerily quiet in the place. He looked around and saw Violet sitting against a wall, slumped over, eyes closed She was still breathing. Her phone lit up beside her, the time said 11pm that night.

The vibe ended, and Cisco immediately glanced at the clock. It was 6pm. “Shit!” He said, shaking out his hand and fumbling to enter in Len’s phone number. He couldn’t text with how shaky his hands were, but he could call and leave a voicemail.

“I think there’s something wrong with Vi. I kind of vibed it. She’s in some sort of warehouse, looked abandoned. She wasn’t moving. -pause- I realize you have no reason to trust me after last night and whatnot, but I really think she’s in trouble, and you’re the first person I thought of. Please help her, I can’t. Not right now anyway. Thanks.” -end call-

The Walls of my Town (Come Crumbling Down) || Cisco and Eobard

“Caitlin’s lab has Excedrin,” Eobard suggested. “Come on. Take something, rest here for a few more hours, and then go home. Outside is still chaotic, and I’m willing to bet you’ll find it louder than is comfortable right now.” He pushed himself onto his feet, legs still wobbly but otherwise mostly supportive.

“I’m fine, I really don’t need anything. I just want to sleep and let time slip away. Plus, I don’t want Cait to get on me again for taking things without asking.” Cisco said, squeezing the bridge of his nose. “I’m sure I can handle outside. I have my earbuds and some epic soundtrack from some of my favorite movies. I should be fine, Eobard. You worry too much.” He smiled, grabbing his phone and headphones from his pocket. “I’ll even let you know when I get home, hmm?”

“Bad girl will shoot you in the knee if she has too”, she spoke, fingers firmly wrapped around the gun in her belt. Did she need a gun to protect herself? Absolutely not. Training with the Arrow taught her how to fight, the training with her gifts taught her how to hone them, but her mental game was strongest. Which was why the powers she had was the last option in her mind. “A cell mate possessed by an ancient witch just aching to kill you. Maybe man who liked to used electroshock therapy as an incentive to get me to work on controlling my abilities.” @fransciscoramon

“Oooooh. Sorry, chica. Touchy subject much? Ya coulda warned a guy.” He paused. “Well, looks like you maybe need to cool off a little, so maybe we can do this again sometime? Or not, whatever.” Cisco brushed a little dust off her shoulder, letting his hand linger a little longer than normal.

wingsofhorus:

“We’ve established this before didn’t we? Besides the fact that Kendra and I are soulmates, I believe she broke up with you” he retorted, swatting away the rocks away. He only knew the younger man briefly but he didn’t know what happened to him of late to cause this attitude change.

“She’s fine, if you must know. Now what is it that’s going on with you?” he asked, concerned for the man’s demeanor.

“Details, details, details.” Cisco scoffed, continuing the pebble tossing. “I see my girl. Sorry. Your girl is still a touchy subject. But how’s life, birdman?” A smile spread across his face, knowing Carter hated being called anything but his given name.

“Metahumans are a curse upon this city. A curse that i intend to rectify,” Lex barked his disdain for those with powers obvious. “No one should have that kind of power, it’s not natural, they’re an abomination.”

“Of course it’s unnatural. It’s all the cause of an explosion. It’s not their fault they are like this.” He said, crossing his arms. “You aren’t rectifying anything, buddy. This isn’t your city to fix.”

“Sorry, Lis. That is reserved for those who actually like me.” Cisco quipped, a little part of him hoping Lisa would come around. “I guess I’ll see ya later then.” He said, slipping his goggles on and turning around to walk away. “Catch you on the flip side, Lisa.”

Hartley had been no help in locating Cisco. It was hard to
not put Cisco in the same category as Reverb, but he knew there were
differences. Reverb had been one of the main reasons he had racked his brain
trying to figure out how to counteract Reverb’s sonic blasts. Luckily, his
helmet came in handy for that. Once he learned he could create his own blasts
by hitting his helmet at a quick speed, coming up with ways to counteract the
sonic booms had been easy. Everyone assumed his helmet had no use – but Jay
always enjoyed proving them wrong.

Sneaking around the back of an alleyway was something he
never thought would be part of his job description, but there he was. It was
closest to Star Labs and with the small details he knew about Reverb, he
figured if they shared any similarities at all, he may run into him in a place
like this. Jay continued to walk forward, taking a step to the left when he
noticed movement to the right of him. His nose turned up, watching the rat
cross in front of him. “Gross.” He grumbled. If there was one thing he disliked more than disgusting alleyways, it was probably the things that came with them. Back before he got his speed, he remembered being that guy that would avoid these places like the plague. Now he was that guy who ended up going down them in search of something that probably wasn’t here because saving this world outweighed all the negative things that could come from being in an alleyway alone at night.

Cisco snickered from the shadows. “You’re new around here.” The green of his goggles glowing from the darkness. “Where’d you come from, Mr.tall, blonde and handsome?”

rathawayxhartley:

Hartley couldn’t help but laugh. This had to be a joke. “Cisco, you realize that sounds ridiculous, right? I was absolutely horrid from the very beginning. There’s no way I could have awakened something in you or however else you want to put it.” He couldn’t help, however the blush on his cheeks. Hartley wished he could go back to how he was before. They would not have discussed this at all and they would have already been kissing if not more. But the insecurities and therapy sessions made him feeling powerless. “I’m not a wuss,” he grumped. After gritting his teeth he groaned and stood up. “Fine. Give me the hardest thing you have.”

Cisco let a smile spread across his lips. “Eres lindo, Hartley,” the spanish words rolled off his tongue easily. “You sure you want to go hard?” He shook his head, opening a bottle and pouring some in a glass for the other man. “Don’t go puking all over my stuff now.” Cisco said, passing the glass across the counter.
