Hartley immediately drew back his hand, looking down at the floor. “It’s not old news for me,” he murmured, looking quite hurt and moving one of his hands to his ear, one of his old signs of weakness. “I wasn’t trying to flirt with you then, Cisco. I was… I was trying to do what friends do. Clearly I still have no grasp of the social protocols required.”

“Oh, don’t get shy on me now, Rathaway.” Cisco grinned, cocking his head to the side. “Whether you were flirting or not, I sure was. Typically you would flirt right back, but I guess you aren’t in the mood.” He crossed his arms and sighed, “Yeah. Wells isn’t Wells, I caused an earthquake, I’m no longer a goody goody, yadda yadda yadda.”

rathawayxhartley:

Hartley watched Cisco carefully, hearing the frequency increase. “I mean about Team Flash and Harrison Wells not being Harrison Wells.” Hartley couldn’t help but feel a slight pang of guilt for bringing it up to Cisco but he needed to find out what’s happening. In a slightly awkward display of kinship, Hartley reached over and rested a hand on Cisco’s shoulder. Unfortunately, Hartley’s bravado had completely dissipated from before, the gravity of his now pain-free hearing really settling in and the gratitude seeping out and he really didn’t know how to handle it.

It was as if a switch flipped inside as he felt the dynamic change between them. “Yeah, that’s all old news, bud.” Cisco said, leaning into the couch. He felt the hand on his shoulder and raised an eyebrow as he looked over at Hartley. “Oooh, is this a friendly or flirty touch? With you I never know.”

rathawayxhartley:

Hartley rolled his eyes. “Fine, well, tell me everything. Being blacklisted doesn’t do much for finding out the gossip.”

Cisco sighed, feeling the normalcy drifting away. The energy surged through his being as he looked over at Hartley. “There’s not really much gossip,” He paused. “Well, I take that back. There was an earthquake not too long ago that was cause by an, uh, unnatural source.” Cisco bit the inside of his lip as he grabbed the remote and started scrolling through channels on the television.

Hartley frowned, still pouting. “I don’t like how put together you are. How am I supposed to make fun of you when you’re actually a real person now?”

“Let me be a real person for just a few more minutes.” He said, shuffling across the apartment grabbing the stray clothes. “Okay, maybe 30 more seconds.” Cisco sped-walked down the hallway and threw the clothes into his closet before closing the door. He quickly pulled on some Star Wars themes pants and ran back out to the common area. “I’m rarely put together, Hart. You should know that all too well.” He sighed, plopping down onto the couch next to the man.

What’s up, Buttercup? | Cisco & Lisa

lisa-snart:

Lisa kept her eyes narrowed and her lips in a fine line. This Cisco, if it was the “real” Cisco was a major turn off. If anything he reminded her of all the skeeves she’d ever known. Hell, Roscoe didn’t even treat her like that.

“Don’t play dumb. You know I only go out for few reasons. Shopping and thieving. Do you see any bags in my hands?” With an exasperated sigh she locked her gaze with his. “Cisco, if this is the real you, I’m gonna have to walk away from you. Forget what we had, I don’t take such…disrespect from anyone. I try to keep a certain decorum around you, so you see I’m more than just a petty thief. But screw that, you need to stop acting like a twat. This isn’t you or even the real you. I know you’re hurt and scared but if you keep acting like a douche nozzle, I’m gonna kick your ass-love or not.”

That would be her only warning, she was getting too old for these games. She never thought she would have to give Cisco this delightful little pep talk. It made a large part of her very sad.

“I’m not playing dumb, sugar.” He smiled. “I just wanted you to say it so I could say we should thieve together. Wouldn’t that be such a treat?” Cisco said with a sarcastic tone. He raised his hands and took a few steps back. “Baby, if you don’t like me at my worst, you sure can’t have me at my best. Walk away if you will. But I can’t guarantee I’ll forget what we have. I know you’ll come back to me Lisa Baby. I just know it.” A smile creeped across his face, much like the shadows of the alley were. “Honey, I don’t wanna hurt you, but if you come at me, I can’t promise you won’t end up on that pretty little ass of yours.” Cisco let his hands fall to his sides, watching Lisa closely for any sign of a weapon on her person.

The Walls of my Town (Come Crumbling Down) || Cisco and Eobard

themaninthelightning:

Caitlin may still be involved, but at a greater distance than before. The team was fracturing, and Eobard couldn’t help but suspect his actions had much to do with that. “Tomorrow is too soon. Give yourself a week or two to rest,” Eobard cautioned. “Consider the scale of what you’ve just done.” He kept his voice soft, non-accusing, reminding Cisco of his guilt without being too pointed about it. “Your body needs time to recover.” He intended to stop by the Cortex sometime soon and check on Barry’s status. The younger speedster had checked on him, after all, that seemed a favor worth returning.

“My body is fine, Eobard. But I won’t complain to a little downtime.” Cisco said with a ghost of a smile. “Gives me time to clean, and enough naps to last me at least a month. Should be fun. Star Trek marathon, pjs, and a fridge full of food. I guess I’ll probably just head on out then. My head is killing me.” His eyes squeezed shut, hoping he could will the headache away.

drcait-snow:

No, this time, he wasn’t going to escape so she ran where he was, knowing that he was faster than her so she tried to use her powers to put like a barrier so he couldn’t pass the exit and she did it “Cisco, sorry but you are not telling me something and I’m worried. First Barry, now you, honestly, I want to be a good friend but you two are making that impossible”

Cisco stopped as his exit was blocked. “Cait, stay out of this. It’s not of your concern.” He huffed, pushing energy out through his palms, shattering the ice like it was nothing. He turned and looked at her with a menacing look. “Don’t try and follow me. You’ll only get yourself hurt.” With that, he turned and ran out to the dark parking lot, pulling his glasses out and flicking on the nightvision before sliding them onto his face. He threw his hands out, shattering all of the lights in the parking lot, pluging it into darkness, before running off. “Good luck finding me, Snow!”

Going Rogue | Open

“Maybe I can, maybe I can’t, but that’s not what’s bugging you”, she couldn’t hide that amused tone in her voice. “Yeah, no thank you on that front. Maybe because you’re not scary? Goofy get-up really robs from it. But the important thing is I’ve seen scary, I’ve been locked up with scary. And you’re no where near scary.”

“Fine, so what defines ‘scary’ to you, then, sweet thang?” He grinned, closing the gap between them. “It’s gotta be real bad if you’ve been locked up. I do love a bad girl.”

drcait-snow:

Caitlin smiled a bit when he said that “I’ve practice” And she did, she was starting to gain control and that was something really but really good for her. Caitlin sighed and nodded once “Fine but I know that you just want to push it because that’s who you are, you are always trying until you are good, that’s what makes you, well, you but that also can be dangerous” However, she was going to trust Cisco in this. However, when he fell, she was going to help him but then, he just did something, the floor was starting to vibe and she just put her hand on the bed so she wasn’t going to fall, when that ended, she looked down at Cisco, helping him to get up “You need to work on that but not that much, come on, sit and try to relax for a bit”

“I’m fine, Cait. I’m fine.” He stated, getting up and dusting off his sweatshirt and slacks. “I’ll just be going. Uh, thanks for checking me out. I’ll be sure to call if there are any problems or concerns.” Cisco wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. He needed to get home and just be alone with his thoughts. Figure out what was really going on. He turned and practically ran out, hoping his dear friend wouldn’t chase him out. He really didn’t want her to see the person he’d been hiding all along.
