Cisco just smiled. We don’t have to be enemies, Hartley. I think there was only tension because we were competing for Harrison’s affection.

“No, there was tension because I hated you. And we weren’t competing. I had him long before you showed up.” Hartley couldn’t help his expression going cold. “He also lead me on differently than you. Don’t make Harrison the uniting force. I also knew he had superspeed long before anyone else but I didn’t care because I wanted to have sex with him.” The sneer was back.

Fine. I won’t help you then. Sorry for trying. He signed with a frustrated expression before jogging ahead to distance himself.

Hartley rolled his eyes at the sudden affection, tapping Cisco’s shoulder so he was watching. Why is this happening? Why are we being nice to each other, I don’t like this.

Cisco just smiled. We don’t have to be enemies, Hartley. I think there was only tension because we were competing for Harrison’s affection.

“That pain, it goes away! You have to fight it before you bow to the darkness.” Sara said with a low nip in her voice. She’d been there, the darkness had claimed her early on and she’d just not begun to drag herself from beneath it. She stood her ground, knowing that her Cisco wouldn’t hurt her. It wasn’t in his nature to do harm onto anyone. Accidentally maybe but never intentionally. “Of course I mean it, Cisco, please just listen to me.” His voice rose an octave, leaving her riddled in an alarming state of pain. The anguish he felt washed over her like a tidal wave. It was like she’d been living vicariously through it, feeling every rise and fall of adrenaline. Her mind worked solely to jar him from the muddled vision that she couldn’t anticipate his betrayal. The barbed beams clattered as they fell from their ascent. Sara felt the first crushing blow, the wind knocked from her body. A pooling warm gathering in her stomach as she’d been pinned to the old wooden floor. The dull loss of tension in her left leg with the blood curling pain ripping through her side from where the sharped metal pierced through the cotton of her shirt. It was like liquid fire running through her body. How could he do this…to me.

Cisco watched as the woman fell to the floor, a darkness in his eyes that typically wouldn’t be there. “Don’t come looking for me, because that was mild compared to what I can really do. Goodbye, Sara.” He said, turning on his heels before walking swiftly out of the bell tower.

Going Rogue | Open

tremorsmcadams:

Rea slipped her hood over her head, as she bounced down the steps, and made her way down the back the alley. Breaking and entering was slowly becoming a usual for her latest job. Gathering intelligence and information often required not only her computer skills, but the latest development in not only her abilities but the training with Oliver. The further she got out of the alley way and away from the building, the more satisfied she felt with the job she had just done.

Lost in her own little world, Reagan focused on the path she was going, rather than what was coming her way. Clattering of metal drew her attention, but it was almost too late. The trash can hurled towards her, leaping just enough so her shoulder took most of the impact. “Shit”, she groaned, glancing around for the cause. Pulling herself back up, Rea spotted the figure and without a second thought she started moving for them. “What the hell is your problem?”

Cisco turned to face the woman with a smirk smeared across his face. “Nothing, you  got a problem, Chica?” He quipped, the spanish word rolling off his tongue easily. “Cause I can handle that real fast.” His arms hovered at his sides, palms facing forward. “Whadda ya say?”

rathawayxhartley:

Hartley couldn’t help but wince, trying to stop the normal sneer from forming at the idea that Cisco would fix something for him but pursed his lips. I suppose. Hartley couldn’t help the sour expression on his face but sighed. I have no other choice, do I?

It doesn’t seem like it. I have clean clothes and a bunch of hot water so you can clean up. Cisco smiled, patting the man gently on the back, turning him in the direction of the city.

rathawayxhartley:

It really didn’t help that Hartley used his dominant hand to punch the tree given that his only way to communicate with Cisco for the moment was his hands, specifically his right one. Hartley watched Cisco carefully as he almost gelatinously fumbled through his explanation and felt a sneer growing on his face at his ineptness but quickly quelched that feeling, the confusion even more evident. He couldn’t help but be wary at Cisco’s olive branch. Harrison had done the same. Deep down inside, however there was a small glimmer of hope that Hartley couldn’t help but focus on. He couldn’t imagine anyone actually doing what Cisco said for him without an ulterior motive. He was at a loss for words and stared at the man for a bit longer than acceptable before awkwardly signing a Thank You, a small blush evident on his cheeks, before turning away again, rubbing his forehead. He was screwed. He didn’t have access to a lab in which to make new earpieces. And even if he did, he didn’t have the mechanical skills to create something that would stand up to the vibrations Cisco could create. And Hartley actually genuinely wanted to help Cisco… But he couldn’t do that if his eardrum shattered every time.

Can I fix? He signed, pointing to his own ears. Cisco knew that he was the cause of Hartley’s earpieces to break. Therefore, he was going to be the one to fix them. Hey, it also gave him an excuse to bring Hartley back to his apartment and show off his bachelor pad.

molly-eiling:

Molly was confused at the words spoken to her, so she turned with a slightly furrowed brow. The man she saw seemed…well, she didn’t know. “Erm, I’m well.” She responded, half-lying to herself and him both. “Yourself?” He had a nice smile, she noticed, but something seemed off. She couldn’t place it, so she offered a small smile.

“I’m doin’ just fine.” He smiled, walking closer to the woman. She seemed confused, and by what he wasn’t really sure. He thought his body language was enough, but aparently not. As he approached her, he wrapped his arm around her shoulders. “What do you say to a few drinks on me?”
