lisa-snart:

Lisa shook her head as he came out of the bathroom with a towel hung low around his hips. He was in better shape than he was when they first met. Apparently he was trying harder and doing more patrolling. She made a mental note to track his activities so he wouldn’t get his cute butt killed.

Still grinning she tried to cut him off in the kitchen and grabbed him by the shoulders. “No, you’re going to bed to lie down, I heard you swearing in there. I’ll order pizza and you lay down. Just tell me what you want on your pizza and if you behave you might get a kiss goodnight.” she promised.

“I’m fiiiiine, Lisa. I’m going to grab a drink.” He said, ducking under the woman’s arms. He opened the fridge and grabbed a hard cider, opening it and finishing it in one long gulp. Cisco winked at the woman as he rinsed the can and tossed it in a paper bag under the sink. “For the pain, promise. Help yourself to whatever. There’s cider, beer, coke, water, lemonade, other stuff. Snacks in the cupboards, I just went shopping the other day, so.” He darted back down the hallway and into his room, shutting the door behind him.

He rummaged through his drawers and found himself a pair of TARDIS boxers and a navy blue doctor who shirt and slipped it over his head, smiling at himself as the mirror as he caught a glimpse of himself. He began to whistle the theme song from the show as he stepped into his closet and pulled on his red and blue plaid PJ pants, smiling at his matchy-ness. “Hey Lis-” He stopped feeling suddenly very dizzy. Maybe that drink wasn’t the best idea after all. The vertigo overcame him, causing him to close his eyes and lean heavily on the wall. “Whadda wanna wear?” He managed to get out before slowly sliding to the ground.

“I’m always down for a drink, but I’m not entirely sure I should socialize with Vi’s treasured older brother.”

Cisco groaned. “Dude. stop referring my to Violet’s older brother. I love the girl, but I’m not bound to her. Just because I’m her brother doesn’t mean I’m going to harp on you or anything. I have my own life, you know.” He turned and stepped away from the man. “Sorry for trying to be friendly.”

Lisa gave him a light poke to a bruise. “Stop that you, I’m here as a nurse and nothing more.” she said, but couldn’t hide her smile. His bruises made her weary though. “If you’re going  to insist on patrolling would you place go take some lessons? I would offer but I’m not trained and I fight dirty.”

Pulling him up, she gently spun him to take it all in. Mostly bruises, the cut to the head did worry her but it was because she couldn’t see how deep it was. “Go shower, I’ll sit outside the door in case you get dizzy, I’ll be ale to see more once you wash off the blood. Just be gentle and don’t just soap it’ll sting like hell.”

Nudge him away from him she gave him a light swat on the butt. She wanted to get her nursing bit over with and let him get some sleep. Then she could nose about and leave at dawn if he was ok. She knew what serious head injuries looked like, it had her remembering when Len was thrown down the stairs by their dad. She couldn’t even remember why, just the sound of his head hitting the edge of the stairs and going limp on the landing. She was young at that point but she had made sure to know how to care for him since no one else would. There was no saviors or kindness in the house of Snart growing up.

He took a step away from the woman as she poked his bruise. “Not cool! My ribs are still healing, you jerk. “ He paused, as he spun in a circle. “Hey now!” He laughed as she swatted his butt. “I know how to shower, Lis. Help yourself to some food. There’s chips in the cupboard and drinks in the fridge. I can make actual food once I get out.” He smiled, grabbing a towel out of the closet and shutting the bathroom door behind him.

He squealed as the warm water hit the wound on his head. “Holy shit that hurts!” As he showered, he began to feel lightheaded, mostly from the heat of the shower and the pain radiating from his head. He leaned against the back of the shower, away from the spigot as he turned the water a little colder. “I don’t need lessons on how to patrol, you know. It’s mostly common sense. Watch your back, and get the first hit in. Don’t let the guy knock you to the ground. Very simple. I just need to build up my strength and crap.” He said, turning off the shower.

He stepped out of the shower and wrapped the towel around his waist. He opened the door and leaned against the doorframe. The towel sat low on his hips, excentuating the muscles that had become more and more defined over the past month or so. “So, what sounds better? Pasta or pizza?” He grinned before taking a step towards his room. He hadn’t told Lisa about his lightheadedness, as he was only wrapped in a towel and didn’t need to be falling over and losing his towel, showing her everything in the process. “What tickles your fancy?”

lisa-snart:

Lisa giggled as he poked her in the side. “Well at least I know your weakness is-your DVR.” She winked as they entered his apartment.

She looked around and it just felt like his place. Warm and homey. “Ok you, let me look over your wounds and then go to bed. Trust me, I nurse the Rogues so I have some expirence.”

She steered him to the couch and turned on the nearest light and gentle parted his hair to check his head. It was just hard to tell with the blood crusted in his hair. The wound didn’t seem too deep or serious.

“Do you hurt anywhere else? Take off your shirt, I’m not trying anything I swear,” she assured him with a laugh. Well at least this time it was purely out of safety she needed his shirt off.

“Dude, seriously. don’t touch my DVR.” Cisco said in a serious tone. “I don’t play when it comes to my tv. Ow!” He winced as the woman poked around on his head. “What are you doing to my head? Is there something in my hair?”

“Even if you were trying to do something, I honestly wouldn’t oppose.” Cisco snickered, lifting his shirt over his head. The bruises from his last patrol were finally beginning to heal, so his left ribcage was splotched with them in multiple stages of healing. He glanced down when he felt a stab of pain from his healing ribs. “Those bruises aren’t from tonight. That is from a few weeks ago, I was trying to patrol and someone got the jump on me. I’m fine though. Barely a scratch, just a lot of bruising.” He said with a soft smile.
