Office Call: Cisco/Helena

“Assassins, huh?” Helena chuckled and gently tucked his hair behind his ears. “That’s quite a date,” she said softly, examining his face. Her plan could still be salvaged. “Do you want to be ‘a thing,’ Cucciolo?” she asked with a shy smile.

“Yeah. I wouldn’t reccommend it.” He smiled, scooting closer to the woman on the couch. “I mean, I wouldn’t mind being a thing, mi amor.”

Helena nodded softly and smiled. “I hadn’t been on a real date in a couple of years. It’s nice.”

“Last time I went on a date, I got attacked by assassins. That was interesting. Actually, I’m not really sure it was a date. We were never a thing.” He laughed. “Are we a thing?” He asked, looking up at the woman with what one could only describe as puppy dog eyes.

lisa-snart:

“I don’t believe in that kinda thing. I mean, as a kid I used to want to be a figure skater but its stupid. The only thing that matters in the long run is money and power. I think some people are always meant to be bad or have bad things happen to them. I don’t think about what could have been, I like the here and now. Is that so wrong?”

“You don’t have to believe it, I was just curious. Alternate timelines are a thing, just so you know. You can’t run from the truth.” He shrugged, remembering the two alternate timelines he’s gotten a glimpse of. “No, there’s nothing wrong with that. But believe what you wanna believe.” Cisco said, looking over his glass at the woman as he took a drink.

roscoe-dillon:

“Honestly kid, I just wanted to test my powers on someone and since the Scarlet Speedster isn’t around at the moment I guess you just got lucky” he remarked tugging on the boy’s outfit as he pulled him up on his feet. “I’m not gonna kill you if that’s what you’re worried about. Just get a message to The Flash for me. The Top is back, and He’s gonna keep on spinning” he remarked before placing a hand on the boy’s head.

“Sleep” he commanded, wanting the boy to be pacified yet still retain his message.

Scarlet speedster? The Flash? What did Barry have to do with any of this? Cisco thought to himself as the man spoke. He quickly processed what the man said, but didn’t understand  who The Top was. Before he could open his mouth to ask, he felt his body go limp and his consciousness slip away.

Helena sighed and nodded slowly, kissing him again though her kisses were softer than before. “I’m sorry I almost ran you over, by the way. I was sort of a bitch when I did it.”

Cisco broke the kiss briefly and smiled at the woman. “It’s okay. If it weren’t for you almost running me over, We would have never had dinner.” He said before kissing the woman again.

lisa-snart:

Lisa smirked. He made everything seem so simple but it wasn’t. Not with what she had experienced in life. Being good did nothing to her, if anything it made her life worse. She preferred power and not to rely on anyone with the exception of her brother.

“Thank you,” she said, taking the drink and lifted it out to Cisco. “Cheers?”

“Yeah, sure. Cheers.” She said with a soft smile before touching his glass with hers, taking a drink quickly after. “If you weren’t with the rogues and were a completely different person, what do you think you’d be doing? Let’s say an alternate universe sort of thing.”

saralancecanaray:

“Oliver isn’t going to hurt you. If he were than you’d be hurt already. I think he’s just adjusting to the idea of a world with people beyond the lines of good and bad. They bend those rules and you’re one of them. Though you’re nothing like them.” She shrugged brushing the hair out of his face, “I won’t lie and say it was all that smart but that makes you perfect for this kind of work. None of us make smart decisions and sometimes we have to pay for those errors. Though besides the price we pay, we save people.” Sara rolled her eyes playfully, “just because you were the tech guy doesn’t mean you weren’t as important as Barry. You just happened to save his ass more times than not. You’re not a fool, Cisco. You’re good. We need more good in the world that’s why I am here trying to remind you that you’re not alone and this isn’t an all or nothing situation. You’re already a hero.”

Cisco sat and listened sat as his friend spoke, staring down at his feet. About halfway through, he began to bring his head up, his eyes finding Sara’s face immediately. A smile spread across his face as she finished. “Thanks, Sara. You have no idea how much I needed to hear that.”

Helena sighed, wetting her lips as she considered her options. “I don’t want to be a bother.” She looked over to the door and sighed, sitting back down and gently stroking his cheek. “You’re really sweet, you know that?”

“ ‘S not a bother at all, really. I enjoy having company.” He smiled. “So I’ve been told. But please, stay.”

Helena laughed at how awkward it was and moved her lips to his forehead. “I think my meaning might have been misconstrued but the sentiment is the same,” she said formally, kissing his forehead once more before pulling back and making a move to stand up. “Well, I’m suitably embarrassed so I suppose I’ll head home now.”

“You don’t have to leave. I have some ice cream in the fridge just waiting to be eaten. I can’t do it alone. Well, I could, but that would mean I’d have to wake up early to go to the gym, and I’m not about that life,” Cisco smiled.

“We could watch a movie,” he tried, hoping the woman would stay a little longer with him.

Helena chuckled and reached over, gently kissing him with a soft smile. “I don’t need anyone, Francisco,” she murmured. “I just want one.”

“Aw.” He smiled as she pulled him close. He wrapped his arms loosely around her waist as they kissed, despite how awkward they were sitting.
