She was escaping actually from her. Something happened in the lab and almost hurt a person when she was trying to calm her emotions and powers so right now she was walking fast away from there, maybe fresh air will help her or something, when she bumped into someone “Oh my God, I’m so sorry…” She apologized without looking who that person was.
“Cait, you’re fine. What’s wrong?” Cisco could sense something was wrong and he needed to get to the bottom of it.
Helena eyed him in her peripheral vision. “He’s making you a vigilante, isn’t he. I’m surprised. Clearly his type has changed.”
“A vigilante?” He said, laughing as the opened the door for her. “Yeah right! I just need to learn how to properly defend myself. I really don’t need to get my ass kicked.” Again.
Violet raised her eyebrows. “Okay, Cisco. I say this because I care. If you want to explore the outer reaches of your sexuality I’m fine with it being my boyfriend. I mean, I doubt he’ll be down with it. But I’ve pegged it from the beginning you’re hopelessly in love with Barry Allen. I mean. You designed a suit with abs and a really tight crotch and ass area on purpose. Which, I thank you for, but seriously. Somehow we’ll find a way to get him drunk and you guys can drunkenly make out and then all of your repressed feelings will be out in the open and we can move on.”
“’m straight, Vi. Gots a girl, ‘member?” He smiled, finishing his cider. “Hmmm. Helena.”
Helena’s walk stuttered a bit, just hearing his name made her head spin. The hand that wasn’t holding Cisco’s hand balled up into a fist as she continued to stare straight ahead trying to appear as unaffected as possible. “Are you sure you’re not trying to learn archery? Because I don’t think archery is for you, honey. You seem more of a ray gun type of guy.”
Actually more of a vibrate things until they crumble kinda guy. Cisco could sense something was wrong, but he brushed it off. “Not training like that. Training like, defending myself. Throwing punches and gaining muscle.” He smiled as he guided her toward the front door of his apartment.
Helena’s interest was piqued but luckily her change in demeanor didn’t show much as he was staring up at the sky. “Who are you training with?”
“Oliver, actually. I think we’re going to put our differences aside and just train. Hopefully he won’t pummel me.” Cisco said with a laugh. “I’ll be lucky if I can walk up the stairs to my apartment after.”
“Lazy,” she said simply. This was, of course, a lie. She and the Professor had gone out for coffee and scones in the morning and then she spent the rest of the day gathering recon and such. “Yours, I’m sure, is far more interesting than mine.”
“Ooooh. I would have loved a lazy day.” He sighed, smiling at the starry sky. “My day wasn’t terribly exciting. Work is work. You know. Really excited for the weekend though. I’m going to start training so I can defend myself. There have been more robberies in my apartment complex, so I figured I should know how to take someone down, yeah?” Cisco babbled. Most of that was a lie, however. He was training with Oliver so he could go out ant patrol without getting beaten up like the first time. “What are your plans for this weekend, babe?”
Helena sighed. It was really important to her plan for the man-child to have an intimate night with her when he could remember it the next day. She supposed, however, that she could get information out of ‘sitting and talking’ as well, though it would be a lot less fun. “Yes, of course,” she said, kissing his lips softly. “Lead the way, sweetheart.”
Cisco smiled, as he grabbed her hand and began to walk in the direction of his apartment. “So how was your day?” He asked as the events of his day ran through his head. He was excited to spend some more time with Helena, no matter where the night lead.
