“Dr. Barbara Gordon and I was told by the administration that the lab was closed due to the explosion and continued failed experiments,” Barbara said looking around.
“The lab has not shut down, nor are you salvaging it.” Cisco said, stepping upto the woman. “Not everything was destroyed in the lab during the explosion. Just a section was destroyed in the explosion. Everything else is functioning fine.”
Violet sighed. “Just that she was Oliver’s protege. They were dating and she was in the mob and she wanted to bring her father to justice so Oliver taught her how to shoot an arrow or whatever and gave her a fancy costume and they went out and fought crime together and were in love or who knows what and then Helena got a bit too into it and Oliver pulled the plug because she wanted to kill people and then she got super jealous and like Oliver was going to kill her or something I don’t know. But anyway. Roy says that she’s Oliver’s crazy ex-girlfriend.”
Cisco’s eyes widened as Violet continued to speak. “Wow, realllyy? Thatscrazy.” He slurred ever so slightly. “Hey, do you want to go watch a movie? ‘Cause Iwould totally be down for some StarWarsrightnow.”
“I assume you have the same number? I’ll text you once I find that chair of yours.” Cisco said, rolling his eyes at what he was doing for the man that almost ruined his whole life. “Is that so? Catch ya on the flip side, Thawne.”
“I don’t have a phone. Being erased from existence is a mild inconvenience in many ways,” Eobard said, matching Cisco for sarcasm. “I will be back,” he added over his shoulder as he strolled out of the room, hands in his pockets. He’d gotten most of what he’d come for.
“But if you say that your power maybe could be big, is not much better if you train with someone that is meta human?” She asked looking at him “I’m sorry, it’s just you can hurt Oliver and well, he doesn’t heal fast like Barry. However, I’m going to train with Barry, he told me that I should do that with him, it would be better, I think..”
“I’m almost completely positive that Oliver can take what little strength I have, Cait.” Cisco laughed before dropping the smile. “I would never train with you or Barry. I’m afraid I’d hurt you guys. I’m not sure what I’m capable of just yet, and I’m not ready to put you guys in danger. Nor will I ever be.”
Violet sighed. “Because I want you to be happy. And like. You always said that dates don’t go well or whatever. And like. I dunno. I guess I was living vicariously through you for a moment, you know? Like… In my head I was trying to picture what it was like to have sex for the first time with someone that you’re super attracted to and went on a date first and I just couldn’t. I mean. I don’t remember mine. I blocked it out. I mean… I was 15, you know? So like. I never will get that experience of just the…. I don’t even know how to describe it. And I can’t ask Barry about it. That’s just… That’s weird and awkward and… I don’t know. I just want you to have the life I couldn’t. You’re like… You’re like who I’d be if I grew up normally. I’d be a programmer or a computer engineer or something and I’d have a job and I’d be sweet and innocent and happy with best friends and stability. I’d be you. But I’m not. So I just…” She looked down at her hands. “It didn’t matter who the girl was. Just as long as it was real and genuine and you could remember how it felt and whether you were nervous or excited or anxious or…” She sighed again. “I don’t know.”
Cisco really felt the alcohol in his system now. “Aw, Vi!” He said, hugging his sister awkwardly from the side. “iloveyousomuch.”
Helena stayed on the bed, stretching out her long legs. “Well, for what it’s worth, I’m sorry your first time had to be when you’re blackout drunk,” she murmured.
“Yeah, well so am I.” He said, sticking his arms into the sleeves of his coat. “Text me, yeah?” He smiled, leaning down to give her a long kiss.
“I know, I don’t trust him. I’m fine, Cisco, he didn’t do anything, I did. I felt this power because I was so angry” She says looking at her hands for a moment and then she looked up at him “He told me that I was going to hurt people but I don’t want him to help me, I don’t want anything to do with him, I only need to see him gone, for good” She sighed and looked up again “I will and you have to be careful too and if you want to test your powers, you can always try on him”
“Well, hopefully I’ll be training with Oliver soon, and then I’ll see what I’m really capable of.” Cisco smiled.
